Taylor Swift's fans have raised concerns over the singer’s possible ill health. The singer has been touring for a while and was recently seen coughing during one of her shows.
Fans speculated that the change in weather from the different show locations, as well as physical exertion, might have taken a toll on the pop star.
Why Taylor Swift Fans Believe She Is Ill
Fans expressed concern for Taylor Swift's health after her Monday night concert in Singapore, where she appeared on stage exhibiting what seemed to be symptoms of illness.
In a viral video from the show, the 34-year-old singer could be seen coughing and clearing her throat as she performed her song “Delicate” for the crowd.
The video, which was shared on TikTok, had Swifties commenting about Swift’s health and even speculating as to what might be the cause of the symptoms.
One fan said, “Combination of weather change, humidity, and (probably) physical tiredness. She’ll be better after a few weeks off.”
I never want to hear anyone say that Taylor doesn’t put her absolute all into everything she does. No matter what she’s going through in her personal life, whether it’s torrential rain or if she’s ill, she will always give the most incredible show 🤍 pic.twitter.com/mHu22TWgh7

Another individual said, “It would be the weather. Starting in Melbourne where the air is not humid and cool, then four nights in Sydney where it’s humid, then to Singapore.”
“I noticed this too!!! And I thought before it she sounded a bit congested,” a third person said about Swift’s voice.
One more person remarked, “Singing in the rain and it was all sorts of weather for her while she was in [Australia] different weather in different countries would eventually take a toll.”
Taylor Swift Once Vowed Never To Cancel Her Shows
Although it is yet to be confirmed whether Swift is truly ill, it isn’t surprising to see her perform despite having symptoms. In her Time magazine cover interview last year, the pop star noted that she would always do her best to never cancel a show, even in the worst of physical conditions.
“I know I’m going on that stage whether I’m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed,” Swift said in the interview at the time.
She added, “That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.”
The singer still has three more shows to perform in Singapore this week before taking a much-needed break from her Eras Tour. She would subsequently hit the road in May for scheduled shows in France.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Trying Their Best To Prioritize Each Other
Away from her career, Swift’s love life continues to blossom despite her and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, both having very busy schedules. According to a source, the duo are dedicated to supporting each other and are not letting work hamper their romance.
"Taylor and Travis are both super busy right now, but they are trying their best to prioritize each other and their relationship," the insider told ET.
They added about the duo, "Travis is very into Taylor and wanted to be there to support her during her shows in Australia. He’s grateful that she showed up for him during a very hectic time in her career and made it a point to do the same for her. They're making a joint effort to make things work," the source continues.
The Couple Have Supported Each Other
Swift has already shown her support for her boyfriend by appearing at most of his matches since they started dating. She has been spotted cheering at over a dozen of his games so far, including Super Bowl LVIII.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s support has come more in the form of romantic gestures. Upon Swift’s arrival in Australia last month for her shows, the Kansas Chiefs tight end ordered 250-eternity roses to her hotel room and other floral delights, which reportedly cost around $14,000.
Kelce later arrived in the country and spent some time outdoors together at a zoo in Sydney. In the near future, it is expected that more public romantic gestures will be seen from the duo if Swift’s word is to be believed.
"When you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don't care," Taylor told Time. “ We're just proud of each other."
