Selena Gomez Stuns Wearing Only Tight Daisy Dukes

Selena Gomez dropped jaws as she went topless and posed in only a cut-off, super-tight pair of Daisy Dukes back in 2015. While the V Magazine cover is nearly a decade old, fans of the 31-year-old weren't going to let the photo vanish from the digital space.

One Instagram user has stuck the snapshot to their feed as a reminder of how Selena looked at 22, and it was one stunning shot. Showing off her gorgeous figure as she wrapped her arms around her bare chest, Selena sizzled as she rocked the teeny tiny shorts trend, although her looks these days do tend to come a little more covered up.

Posing in profile as she rocked her long locks down and in gorgeous curls, the "Love On" hitmaker wore massive hoop earrings, plus an adorable red and white polka-dot bow in her hair, also flashing her torso tattoo as she shot the camera a direct gaze.

Glamming up with a warming layer of makeup that brought out her rosy cheeks and plump pout, Selena rocked a dark lip and heavy eyeliner, completing her skimpy look via a wine-colored manicure.

While many fans are still gushing over the snap, the image did raise eyebrows at the time. "Your perverse photo shoot of Selena Gomez makes her look like a child. Inappropriate and fodder for pedophiles," one social media user told the magazine as they frowned over the topless snap. Also shading the photo on the magazine's Facebook page was a fan writing: "She looks like one of those children who are entered into a pageant by their parents."

Selena has made major headlines this year for addressing her fluctuating weight, something she's confirmed is based on her medication schedules as she manages the Lupus condition she suffers from. While 2024 sees the Only Murders in the Building star curvier, fans can't get enough of her body-positive spirit and how she encourages others to love themselves just the way they are.

"Self-confidence is still something I work on daily, but when I stopped trying to conform to society’s unrealistic standards of beauty, my perspective entirely shifted," Selena stated in 2022, adding: "Being in the public eye from such an early age certainly comes with a lot of pressure. It’s hard to feel comfortable when you feel like everyone is watching, judging, and commenting on the way you look."

Fans went wild over this Instagram snap as Selena sipped away at her cocktail while in a tight, strapless tube dress. Selena even told fans she thought the photo was "a bit much!"
