The bombshell claims in reality TV star Leah McSweeney's lawsuit continue with shocking accusations against Andy Cohen for promoting a dysfunctional behind-the-scenes culture at Bravo.
The TV personality recently lodged severe complaints against the network and its renowned figurehead for exploiting her alcohol problem. In her allegations, she painted Cohen as a cocaine user and claimed it is no secret that Bravo "thrives off drug and alcohol use."
Leah McSweeney Claims Andy Cohen Is Nicer To Housewives That Join His Drug Culture
According to court documents filed Tuesday in the Southern District of New York, McSweeney accused Bravo and Cohen of breaching her rights under employment law. She emphasized the severity of her case by revealing the network's alleged substance-induced culture.
The fashion designer, who appeared on two seasons of "The Real Housewives of New York City" and one season of the spin-off show "The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip," claimed executive producer Cohen "engages in cocaine use with Housewives that he employs."
McSweeney alleged that the "Watch What Happens Live" host's "proclivity for cocaine usage with his employees is well-known throughout the Real Housewives franchise." She stressed that his drug usage was problematic because it gave specific Housewives preferential treatment.
"Cohen tends to provide the Housewives with whom he uses cocaine with more favorable treatment and [makes them appear more agreeably [in] edits [of their shows]," the legal documents claimed. However, it did not name the reality TV stars in question.
The accusations did not end there, as McSweeney believes Cohen's alleged cocaine usage is used to promote the dysfunctional culture at Bravo Network. Her allegations read:
"Cohen intentionally uses cocaine with his employees to further promote a workplace culture that thrives off drug and alcohol use, which leads to a failure to accommodate employees who are disabled and trying to stay substance free."
As for Bravo, the reality TV giant was called out for encouraging the terrible culture. Apart from alcohol and drug use, they were accused of ignoring sexually predatory behavior. In her allegations, McSweeney highlighted the case of a producer employed by Shed Media.
Shed Media is a production company that makes "RHONY" and "RHUGT" as well as other "Real Housewives" shows. One of their producers allegedly "routinely sends unsolicited pictures of [their] genitalia to lower-level … production employees."
The lawsuit also alleges that Bravo "know or should know about [the producer's] sexual harassment." However, the network refused to take action, and "[they] continue to elevate [the producer] to positions of increased power."
As we reported, this is the second accusation against Cohen in the past few days over alleged inappropriate behavior.
