Iranian-American actress Rama Montakhabi has a beef to settle with rapper Chrisean Rock as she recently accused the 23-year-old of assaulting her.

According to the legal documents obtained by The Blast, the TV personality, best known for starring in the drama series "BMF," filed an assault lawsuit at the Superior Court of the State of California on February 21, 2024.

The actress accused them of "battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and negligence." She recalled the alleged horrifying experience with Rock that occurred on or about June 26, 2023, at the BET Awards after-party/CMG After Party.

Although Montakhabi didn't share the full details of what transpired between them, she stressed the incident was brutal and happened without any provocation. Her recollection, per the document, read:

"Defendant CHRISEAN ROCK intentionally, willfully, and maliciously, without provocation and without the consent of Plaintiff, struck, attacked, assaulted, battered, tortured and imprisoned plaintiff."

The Iranian-American entertainer slammed Rock's actions as "unlawful" and claimed she intentionally attempted to leave her with severe injuries. Rock's alleged assault not only left her with physical wounds but also emotional scars.

"As a direct and proximate result of Defendant's conduct, plaintiff suffered extreme mental shock and anguish and physical pain," the legal documents claimed, noting Montakhabi was entitled to punitive damages from the malicious attack.

As for why Zeus Network was dragged into the matter, the lawsuit explained it was over their connection to Rock. Montakhabi believed those who harmed her were "employers, employees, co-conspirators, and/or agents of one another." The document added:

"In doing the things alleged in this [complaint] were acting within the course and scope of such agency, employment, or co-conspiracy at the time of the events complained of herein."

Montakhabi accused the company of negligence over the alleged assault by one of their stars and held them accountable for Rock's actions. The lawsuit stressed that they had breached their "duty of care" and had thereby inflicted the actress with mental and physical harm alongside "anguish, humiliation, and distress."

Zeus Network is being accused of failing to supervise Rock adequately and not warning the Iranian-American star of their client's "dangerous propensities." Because of the pain she endured from their alleged negligence and the rapper's abuse, Montakhabi wanted compensation for several damages.

Her list included medical and incidental expenses, general damages, loss of earning capacity due to the attack, her attorney fees, and the cost of processing the lawsuit. Montakhabi also requested compensation for punitive and exemplary damages and whatever relief the court deems necessary for her case.
