Barker delved into the backstory of his daughter's name during an appearance on the "Young Hollywood" YouTube show in 2017, revealing that it drew inspiration from the 1993 Quentin Tarantino film True Romance.

"I loved that movie so much," the father of three shared. "I loved Clarence Worley ... and, then, of course, his lovely wife Alabama [played by Patricia Arquette] ... she was so dope in that movie. When it came time we were having a little girl, I fought for ‘Alabama’ so hard.”

Shortly after his little girl's arrival, Barker shared his thoughts on fatherhood with a daughter, expressing to MTV News, "It's been amazing. I've been staying at the hospital and hanging out with her... It's so crazy having a little girl — everything from the way she cries to the way she looks at you is so different."
