Ivanka Trump Marks Mom's Posthumous Birthday With Stunning Throwback Pics

Former first daughter Ivanka Trump recently took to social media to share a carousel of stunning throwback photos of her late mother, Ivana Trump, to celebrate what would have been her 75th birthday.
In the caption of the photos, Ivanka gushed about her mom, calling her "a trailblazing businesswoman" and an "amazing mama." Ivana passed away on July 14, 2022, due to "blunt impact injuries" she sustained after falling down the stairs in her home.
Ivanka Trump Shares Images Of Mom Ivana To Mark Her 75th Birthday
February 20 would have been Ivana's 75th birthday, and to mark the occasion in her absence, her daughter, Ivanka, took to Instagram to share a series of photos in honor of her late mother.
In the first post, Ivanka shared a picture of her mother seemingly sailing a ship while donning a captain's outfit.
Ivanka wrote in the caption of the post: "Imagining you sailing through the heavens guided by the stars… today would have been your 75th birthday. We raise our sails in your honor, Mom, navigating through life with the compass of your love and intrepid spirit. We miss and love you."
Over on her IG stories, Ivanka shared other wholesome photos, capturing special memories from her childhood and the days of her mother's youth.
In one image, a grinning Ivana could be seen proudly holding baby Ivanka in her arms.

Another photo featured Ivana donning a stunning purple gown while looking statuesque. Ivanka captioned the image, "My mom was so understated," along with a laughing emoji.
A third photo, shared by her brother, Eric Trump, and reposted on her IG stories, featured Ivana smiling broadly on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.
In a stunning black-and-white photo of Ivana, she could be seen dressed in a corporate outfit while holding a telephone. Ivanka captioned the image, "...and a trailblazing businesswoman."
Ivanka shared a fifth image featuring her mother skiing, which she captioned, "...a world-class skier for the Czech National Team."
The last photo Ivanka shared featured her late mother standing next to her and her brothers as kids. In the caption of the shot, she described Ivana as an "amazing mama."
Ivana Trump Died From 'Blunt Impact Injuries'
Ivana died on July 14, 2022, after falling down the stairs in her New York City home and sustaining "blunt impact injuries."
Shortly after her death was announced, her ex-husband, former president Donald Trump, paid tribute to her, noting that he was saddened by her passing.
Trump said at the time, "I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City."
He added, "She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana."
The Trump family also released an official statement, describing Ivana as a "survivor" and a radiant beauty" who "fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children grit and toughness, compassion, and determination."
How Ivanka Trump Coped With The Death Of Her Mother
After the news of her mother's death made headlines, Ivanka shared a message emphasizing how heartbroken she was.
"Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate, and wickedly funny," Ivanka wrote at the time.
She added, "She modeled strength, tenacity, and determination in her every action. She lived life to the fullest – never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always."
On the first anniversary of Ivana's death, a source told People magazine that Ivanka was relying on her loved ones to help manage the loss of her mother.
The source said, "Ivanka is spending precious time with her husband and her children, doing what she loves most: being a mother. She feels there is no better way to honor her late mother than to nurture and love her own children."
