Sofia Vergara's Birthday Suit Magazine Cover Deemed Inappropriate For Stores

Sofia Vergara received mixed feedback as she stripped down to only skin for her Women's Health cover back in August 2017. The actress, 51, dropped jaws as she posed nude for the magazine's cover, but not everyone seeing the image appeared impressed.

While many fans gushed over the Modern Family star's sizzling curves as she just about protected her modesty, some felt that Sofia (or the magazine) had gone too far. A debate has since sparked on Instagram, with some mothers feeling that the cover wouldn't be appropriate for families strolling through a store.

Looking confident as she highlighted her stunning curves, the 51-year-old placed one hand over her chest in an effort to not show too much, but fans still got a healthy cleavage flash. Flaunting her shapely legs and toned waistline, Sofia looked like a total bombshell as she rocked her long locks down, with a caption introducing her.

Going for "Strong, Sexy" and "Naked" summary in writing on the cover, Women's Health wrote: "Introducing our first-ever global Naked Issue, starring the one and only @sofiavergara! "Here's a woman, 45, being able to show her body," she says of posing for our September cover. "It's not like before, when it was just young girls."

While one fan called it the "best cover ever," another wasn't so sure.

"As a mom who walks through stores with my kids this is NOT what i want them to see. So far every store ive gone to has been happy and willing to cover this magazine or hide it bc it sadly is what it is, p*rn," they said. Echoing the thought, a separate user wrote: "If I want to see women in the buff I will subscribe to playboy I won't be renewing."

Sofia received little, if any, complaints as she shared these snaps to mark a major Instagram milestone last summer. Sizzling in a green bathing suit as she posed by a large window, she wrote:

"30,000,000 followers!! Thank u to u all! Thank u for always being there for me! Thank u for always supporting me in everything I do!! Besos from Italy!"

Nobody can quite get over how Sofia looks so good at 51. The star is known for being a snack queen and loving big dinners, and yet, she still looks this good. Sofia does have one trick up her sleeve, though. She's massively into sun protection and last year launched her very own Toty sunscreen brand. She chose the name based on her old nickname back in Colombia.
