According to a report, Patrick and Brittany were pictured at Children's Mercy in Missouri by the bedsides of two little girls, ages eight and ten, who had both been shot in the legs.
The girls are the children of Elizabeth "Lisa" Lopez-Galvan. Lopez-Galvan was the person who was fatally shot during Wednesday's rally.
The family said in a statement: "While we are relieved by their progress, the emotional healing continues for all of us. The girls were celebrating with many family members when they were senselessly injured. We kindly ask that you continue to keep our family and the other families affected in your thoughts and prayers."

The family emphasized that funds from an already-existing GoFundMe will be utilized to assist with medical bills.
Over on X, formerly Twitter, Patrick revealed that his team, the Chiefs, had launched an emergency fund to support victims of the mass shooting.
His tweet read, "Just like #ChiefsKingdom has always been there for me and my family, we want to be there for them. The @Chiefs have launched #KCStrong, an emergency response fund supporting victims and their families, violence prevention and mental health services, and first responders."
He added a link, urging fans and followers to join him in supporting the emergency fund.
Patrick Mahomes And Other Kansas City Chiefs Players Speak Out
After the tragic incident on Wednesday, Patrick and his wife shared prayers for Kansas City on social media, with Brittany specifically condemning the violence as unacceptable on her Instagram story.
"Shooting is never the answer. Praying for Kansas City & America in general, this is rough," Brittany said.
In another post, she added: "Highly embarrassed and disappointed in this, Super Bowl wins will never be the same because of this, it's devastating. Lives lost and people injured during something that was [supposed] to be a celebration. Horrible and traumatizing. So many prayers going to the families involved."
The duo's message was followed by Drue Tranquill, who said, "Please join me in prayer for all the victims of this heinous act. Pray that doctors & first responders would have steady hands & that all would experience full healing."
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce also expressed his sadness, saying, "I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."
Kelce's girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, showed her support for the victims by donating $100,000 to the family of Lopez-Galvan, who was killed in the mass shooting. Swift also left a message that read, "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss."
Over 20 People Were Injured In The Mass Shooting Incident
At least 2o people were injured during the tragic incident. As we reported, two teenage suspects are currently being held in juvenile detention and have been charged with resisting arrest and possession of firearms. The gunshots fired were allegedly due to the dispute and not necessarily an intentional attempt to commit mass murder.
In a statement shared on social media, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said, "I am grateful for the charges against the two juveniles who hurt innocent people, simultaneously scarring an entire community."
Graves added that investigators "will not relent until everyone who may have played a part in these crimes is apprehended so that they may be punished to the fullest extent of the law."
