Taylor Swift's Fans: Travis Kelce's 'Toxic Masculinity' At Super Bowl Will Cause Breakup

Swifties have begun speculating that Taylor Swift might be breaking up with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, after his explosive rant at the Super Bowl.

The singer's friends were also reportedly "surprised" by it all and think the footballer's outburst is a huge "red flag."

Swifties have been particularly supportive of Swift's relationship with Kelce since the singer confirmed their romance. However, their admiration for the  Kansas City Chiefs tight end seems to be on the decline following an incident at the Super Bowl matchup between his team and the 49ers.

The incident in question was about Kelce angrily berating his coach, Andy Reid, when his teammate, Isiah Pacheco, fumbled a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Adding to the tension, Kelce also physically pushed the 65-year-old.

While the Chiefs ended up winning 25-22, Swifties took to social media to call out Kelce and even predicted that the "Midnights" crooner might break up with him soon due to the rage that was displayed on the field.

One person said, "Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will now break up because of his toxic masculinity."

A second fan commented: "Travis Kelce hitting Andy Reid is unacceptable. Taylor Swift should break up with him immediately. That behavior is disgusting and should not happen in sports."

One more person penned, "Taylor Swift is about to break up with Kelce after he assaulted his head coach on national television. She's already writing her next song as we speak."

According to reports, Swifties weren't the only ones concerned about Kelce's outburst. His actions were also said to have "surprised" the pop star and her friends, who see it as a "red flag."

"Honestly, Travis yelling at Coach Reid like that was surprising and a little bit concerning to Taylor's friends simply because they were not aware that he even had a side to him like that," a source told the Daily Mail.

The insider claimed that Swift's friends believe that Kelce should have "handled himself with a bit more dignity than to scream at his coach like that," even though a lot was at stake as the Super Bowl is the "biggest game of the year."

The source continued, "This was his first red flag as far as Taylor's friends are concerned, and even Taylor seemed a bit surprised. Being the professional that she is, she has never flipped out on anyone like that."

During the press interview after the game, Kelce downplayed the incident, saying he was only angry because he "wanted the score to be different."

He then heaped praise on Reid, describing him as "one of the best leaders of men" he has seen all through his ten-season stint in the NFL.

Kelce added about Reid, "He's helped me a lot with that, with channeling that emotion, with channeling that passion. I owe my entire career to that guy and being able to kind of control how emotional I get and just love him."

On his part, Reid also noted that whatever tension the incident caused was settled immediately after the win.

"He came over and gave me a hug and said, 'Sorry about that,"' Reid said about the tight end. "He just wants to be on the field, and he wants to play. There's nobody I get better than I get him... He makes me feel young."

Despite all the speculation Kelce's outburst has created, all seems to be well between him and Swift, as they were seen enjoying a PDA moment after the footballer's Super Bowl win.

The duo has continued to garner headlines ever since they began their relationship, and Swift started showing up at Kelce's matches.

Recently, he was seen addressing why the world is "fascinated" with them after a reporter popped the question during an interview.

He said that "the values that we stand for and who we are as people" were the reason behind all the attention.

He added, "We love to shine light on others and shine light around the people that help and support us. I feel like we both have just a love for life."
