Meadow, who began her modeling career in 2017, filed for divorce from her husband of three years in January 2024.
The couple tied the knot three years ago in an intimate ceremony where Vin Diesel, her father's close friend, walked her down the aisle.
“We couldn’t have imagined it to be any more perfect and personal — and honestly it was easy and simple,” Meadow told Vogue of the ceremony at the time. “Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start. It was a very intimate celebration.”
In December, the couple announced their separation.
“After three wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate. This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.”
Two months after the separation announcement, Meadow Rain Walker officially filed for divorce.
As you know, Meadow is the daughter of the late Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013. Last year, she took to social media to remember her dad on what would have been his 50th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my guardian angel,” she captioned an Instagram post in September. “Thank you for your love, guidance, friendship, sunshine and for raising me to see all of the beauty in the world. You are the most kind, humble, generous and caring soul I know. You taught me at a young age to always treat everyone with respect, to do good and to take care of our planet. I love you and miss you every day.”
Meadow was 15 when her father passed away. She has since founded The Paul Walker Foundation in 2015 to continue his legacy. "The Paul Walker Foundation is dedicated to spontaneous acts of goodwill that empower young people and support the environment they live in," per the official website.
Meadow Rain Walker Reveals She Had An Abortion At Start Of COVID-19
The separation comes nearly four years after she revealed she had an abortion at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Today marks a huge setback in history- a profound injustice to women across the United States," Meadow wrote in a social media post at the time. "There are countless women who have struggled with making the decision to have an abortion. I too have battled with the choice but in 2020, when the world was collapsing during the pandemic, I sought an abortion."
She continued, "I was lucky enough to have a great doctor who supported me through the debilitating process- with their help, I am able to be the happy and healthy person I am today."
"Banning abortion doesn't prevent abortions, it prevents safe abortions," the model concluded.
