'American Pie' Star Seann William Scott Files For Divorce After 4 Years Of Marriage

'American Pie' star Seann William Scott has filed for divorce from his wife after only 4 years of marriage.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the actor filed for dissolution of marriage from his wife and interior designer Olivia Korenberg in Los Angeles County Courts, citing "irreconcilable differences."

In the filing, Seann asks the court to dissolve his marriage from Korenberg and wants to stick by the agreements in their prenup to grant financial support to his spouse. He is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their young daughter, Frankie Rose Scott, born in 2020. 

The documents note that "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" belong to both parties, while the Hollywood star's earnings and savings before, during, and after marriage, and since the separation, are his alone. 

The filing also states that any other separate assets or debts are also outlined in the prenup. Additionally, any assets and debts considered community property will be divided according to the terms specified in the prenuptial agreement.

As for the attorneys' fees and expenses, Seann indicated that they are to be paid according to what is stated in his prenup with Korenberg.

The filing claims October 2, 2023, is the official date of the couple's separation.

Going by the document, the "Dude, Where's My Car?" star's Los Angeles home, which he renovated with Korenberg's help — and put on the market earlier this month for $4.97 million — will be all his when it eventually sells.

As the New York Post detailed, Scott bought the 5,148-square-foot lot for approximately $2.2 million in 2017 and subsequently discovered a passion for architectural design.

Succinctly put, the 47-year-old, whose original plan was to renovate and sell the property quickly, soon became enamored with the Venice location and the property itself.

Hence, he meticulously spent seven years planning every detail of the project and ultimately transformed the home's bungalow into a cozy 1,300-square-foot beauty featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The larger 3,300-square-foot building, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, also underwent a similar renovation.

When Scott and Korenberg exchanged vows in 2019, it was big news as the former had only just revealed that he was "dating somebody" shortly before. 

The "Role Models" performer dubbed his partner "a great girl" at the time while explaining that even though he preferred to keep his personal life private, he was "super happy."

Before walking down the aisle, Scott was engaged to former Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Frimodt in March 2012. However, according to PEOPLE, that relationship hit the rocks in January 2013.

When asked how he convinced the model to marry him, he quipped, "I don't know how. She hadn't seen American Pie, thank god. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be engaged."

Although he did not share further details about the proposal, the actor, who was 35 years old then, added, "I'm just really lucky"
