The One Artist Missing From Usher's Halftime Show

Usher had Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, and Ludacris as surprise appearances during the big performance, but fans were upset when they didn't see 'Beauty and the Beat' singer Justin Bieber on stage -- especially since he was AT the game...

"No Justin Bieber during Usher's halftime show?" one fan asked.

"Usher brought all those people on stage and not one of them was justin bieber?" another said.

One fan shared a video, writing, "Me when Usher didn’t bring out Justin Bieber to sing with him."

This comes as a shock to many as Usher and Bieber have a relationship dating back to 2010 when Bieber asked Usher to collab on his song ‘Somebody to Love’. In addition to their working relationship, Bieber also looks up to Usher, even calling him a “big brother” at one point in time.

Others now want the Biebs to take on next year's Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. "Petition for Justin Bieber to do the half time show at 2025 Super Bowl" one X user said.

This comes after sources said that Usher was speaking to Justin Bieber directly about sharing the stage during the halftime show. Bieber was also spotted showing up at Allegiant Stadium over the weekend.

Ahead of the performance, Usher expressed how much this experience meant to him.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement after the big announcement was made last year. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

Despite Justin Bieber not appearing, Usher received great reviews.
