Reba McEntire's National Anthem Performance Shocks Fans

Country music singer Reba McEntire just took the stage to perform the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII and social media is already blowing up with reactions.
The three-time Grammy winner has a special connection to the National Anthem, as she was discovered at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma.
Now, 50 years later, she is set to take the stage at one of the biggest sporting events to, once again, perform the anthem.

"I'm honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time," McEntire said after it was announced she take the stage during the big game.
When asked how she is preparing for the performance, she told CBS, "You just warm up like you do a concert and sing it about five or six times, and get in there, and do it."
After she took the stage, many fans expressed their opinions with the performance, with many rallying behind the country music singer.

One fan couldn't get over how Reba has "not aged" as they said, "Reba McEntire has figured out the secret, on how to not age. She’s 68yrs old and looks amazing!"
Another pointed out the emotion from the players on the field, as they wrote, "Tears run as Reba McEntire sings the US National Anthem."

The praises kept coming in as one user said, "Perfectly done @reba. Beautiful."
Reba is not the only one to receive praise, as Post Malone performed 'America the Beautiful' and Andra Day sang 'Lift Every Voice and Sing' during the pre-game, who both began trending on X.
The star-studded performances are not yet over, as Usher is set to take the stage at halftime of the big game.
