Less than one week into Rizzo and Meyer's newfound romance, which emerged two years after the tragic passing of the former's spouse, the pair seemed at ease while openly flaunting their bond.

For their Los Angeles date, the actress opted for a laid-back look, sporting a brown leather jacket paired with a white tank top and lightly distressed jeans.

Adding a touch of casual elegance, she accessorized with a black Prada purse adorned with a gold chain and a pair of white-and-brown sneakers completed her ensemble. Her man matched her relaxed look with a denim jacket over a grey hoodie, a graphic t-shirt, and Nike sneakers.

Meyer and Rizzo's connection seemed palpable as the latter looked lovingly at her man as they walked hand in hand from the parking lot to their lunch destination. Photos of their walk can be seen here.

The latest view of the lovebirds comes after they debuted their blossoming romance during a Grammys viewing party on February 4, 2024. Despite the air of newfound happiness around Rizzo, she disclosed that it was a journey for her to regain comfort in dating after the tragic passing of her husband in a Florida hotel room back in 2022.

As the "Unfiltered with Kelly Rizzo" host disclosed, "It took a while to get to the point where I'm like, 'OK, I think he'd be happy with it.'"

However, having the support of Saget's daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer, whom he shared with his ex-wife Sherri Kramer, was also instrumental in Rizzo's journey towards embracing her new romance. On that, she gushed:

"It's wonderful, it just meant so much to have their blessing. They're just angels. And to have them support is so meaningful."

While previously explaining the significance of having input from those who "knew him best," the blogger said, "I'd love to think that Bob would want me to be happy too but to hear it from them is just a totally different level. And it meant the world just to hear, 'Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you're going to do what's right, and we want you to be happy.'"

Although the "FabLife" star seems to be thriving in her newfound romance, she discussed her readiness to start dating again during an October 20203 interview. At the time, she admitted that she was "open to it" and willing to go on a date if the opportunity presented itself.

The 44-year-old also dished about experiencing "survivor's guilt" in the wake of Saget's passing at 65. She candidly admitted grappling with feelings of guilt when encountering moments of happiness.

She expressed, "You feel guilty if you have happy moments or if you're not feeling sad all the time. You feel guilty about that, but then I learned that's very normal. Now that enough time has passed, even his girls are always like, 'That's silly. Heavenly Bob wants you to be happy.'"

The Eat Rock Travel founder amusingly pondered how her late partner's "earthly" and "heavenly" selves might perceive her happiness. She quipped, "Earthly Bob would've been like, 'Not too happy.'"

Saget and Rizzo's love story began in 2015 when the comedian made a bold move by sliding into her Instagram DMs. Fast forward a year, and they were proudly announcing their relationship to the world.

Their journey peaked in 2018 when they walked down the aisle in a sweet ceremony at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, California.

Sadly, their love story took a devastating turn when Bob Saget tragically passed away in January 2022. He was discovered unresponsive in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida. Authorities later revealed that his death was due to head trauma.
