Sharon Osbourne had strong words for Kanye West after he sampled her husband Ozzy Osbourne's band's song without permission.
Sharon, whose father, Don Arden, is Jewish, stated that West's team requested permission to use the sample, but her husband refused. The rapper seemingly went ahead to sample the song, with Sharon saying he "f----- with the wrong Jew."
Ozzy has since distanced himself from West, as he shared that he didn't grant West's request because "he is an anti-Semite."
Sharon Osbourne Slams Kanye West For Infringing On Her Husband's Intellectual Property
The Osbourne matriarch unleashed scathing criticism against the "Donda" rapper for sampling her husband, Ozzy's music without permission.
According to TMZ, Sharon didn't mince words as she said that West "f---- with the wrong Jew" by using the iconic rock star's work in his music, although she clarified that he did seek permission about three weeks ago.
She told the news outlet that West "represents hate" and that he's a "disrespectful anti-Semite," so Ozzy had a "special f------ occasion to say no."
"The motherf-----'s a pig," she added.
Ozzy Osbourne Distanced Himself From Kanye West
The controversy began when West used a sample of Ozzy's band hit "War Pigs" for his upcoming "Vultures" album listening party.
Ozzy took to Twitter to slam and distance himself from West because of his past anti-semitic nature.
"@kanyewest asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of 'war pig' from the Us festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an anti-semite and has caused untold heartache to many," he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
He continued, "He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man!'
However, West fired back at Ozzy's remarks by mocking his and Sharon's 2023 Halloween costumes, in which they both dressed like West and his wife, Bianca Censori.
He took to Instagram on Friday to poke fun at them by posting a snap of the pair in their Halloween costumes.
"He obviously has a celebrity handler who's on his account," West captioned it, per Daily Mail.
The Rapper Sparked Controversies With His Antisemitic Comments
West's career took a blow last year when he started sharing several public anti-Semitic rants that saw him banned from platforms like X.
One such comment came when he said he vowed to go "death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE," which sparked several public backlash for the rapper.
The rapper reportedly referred to himself as a "crazy, bipolar, anti-Semite" in a song at his album listening party.
He previously came under fire when the titular track for his "Vultures" album had him rap the vile lyric, "How am I anti-Semitic? I just f----- a Jewish b----." The single has been slammed by Jewish organizations who branded him "pathetic and sad" over because of it.
The father of four lost out on several partnership deals last year after going on an explosive anti-Semitic rant. In a 2022 interview with talk show host Alex Jones, West praised Hitler for his "redeeming qualities" as he also alleged that the "Holocaust is not what happened," promoting the conspiracy theory that Black people are the real Jews.
West has since apologized to the Jewish community in Hebrew, which has been scrutinized and criticized for not being genuine.
Kanye West Having Troubles Booking Venues Due To Antisemitism
According to TMZ, the "Praise God" crooner seemingly suggested that he may be shooting himself in the leg with his actions.
It comes after he recently took to his Instagram stories and revealed that he can't seem to book arenas to perform his new music, as all venues told him there is no space for him.
Only the United Center in his home state of Chicago gave him approval to use the venue for his show. West was able to sell out the auditorium in under seven minutes, as he insinuated that although he was still in demand, he was being blacklisted.
He held his listening party with Ty Dolla $ign at the venue and also likened himself to the king of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
"I HAVE NOT BEEN ALLOWED TO PERFORM IN A YEAR FEELS LIKE THE ELVIS PRESLEY MOVIE," he wrote.
