Kim Kardashian Labeled 'Irresponsible' For Skiing Without A Helmet

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to skiing; however, flaunting her skills without adequate protection did not impress fans.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum recently shared a video of herself effortlessly working the slopes. But her followers' concern for her well-being overshadowed their appreciation of her sweet moves.

Kardashian faced backlash for skiing without a helmet in her latest Instagram post. The video captured her incredible moves on the slopes, rocking an all-black ensemble while holding two ski poles.

Although she effectively worked the mountain slope without falling or crashing into other skiers, the post received more criticism than love for its lack of helmet. Many fans were worried about the entertainer's safety, while others found her behavior improper.

"Helmet? Absurdly irresponsible to ski without a helmet. It's 2024," someone slammed Kardashian. A fellow critic agreed, writing: "Wear a helmet! Set a good example!" A third implored the reality TV star not to follow the crowd, commenting:

"Helmet girl!!!! I know we all think we are amazing skiers, but I don't know why everyone isn't wearing helmets these days. I guarantee you can make a cute one."

Another disappointed fan penned, "Helmets save lives, and people look up to you, so I wish you could've help spread that message in your post by wearing one!" A supporter chimed, "Kim, I'm sorry, but you need a helmet."

The cries for Kardashian's helmet continued, with more Instagram users stressing the importance of wearing safety gear. "Kim, please wear a helmet when skiing. It is so crucial. For your safety and others on the mountain," an individual advised the 43-year-old.

Someone else tried to tempt Kardashian into wearing her helmet with a business idea, claiming: "I'd buy a Skims ski helmet just sayin' Kim." One fan echoed their love for the video but declared: "Only thing missing is your helmet Kimmy!"

Meanwhile, other fans couldn't help teasing Kardashian's pole movements. "Kim moving her poles like she's a d— ski racer on a green run and not even making real turns," an IG user cried, while another wondered, "What is she doing with her poles?"

Weeks before receiving backlash over her skiing video, Kardashian became the internet's punching bag for continuing her partnership with Balenciaga. She was announced as the luxury brand's ambassador in January, an achievement she proudly celebrated on Instagram.

The KKW Beauty founder shared stunning pictures of herself in her massive home closet. She was surrounded by Balenciaga bags of various sizes and colors — a significant number she guessed as 130 in the brand's campaign video.

However, Kardashian discovered she had 129 bags after meticulously counting each colorful bag on the shelves. "Balenciaga #closetcampaign," she captioned the post, which earned numerous criticisms from fans.

"You're a mother. We didn't forget last year's campaign," someone argued, while another exclaimed: "I usually respect Kim's business decisions so much. However, this is so tone-deaf and goes against everything she has said publicly."

A third slammed Kardashian for being money hungry, writing: "How quickly she forgot about the kid bondage campaign once she saw the $$$$$." A fan agreed with this narrative, sarcastically penning: "Guess we forgot that they were a part of human trafficking."

For those unaware, Balenciaga fell from grace in November 2022 following a controversial ad. The marketing campaign featured images of children posing with BDSM-inspired items — images Kardashian declared had left her "shaken" and "disgusted."

It appeared her issues with Balenciaga have faded, given her excitement for the ambassador deal. In a statement, she raved about their history and noted they had a favorable relationship, declaring:
