Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather recently treated 34 friends to a $1.1 million Super Bowl experience in Las Vegas. Despite this extravagance, he disclosed paying a hefty $18 million in taxes.

Mayweather, now a proud owner of a $50 million private jet, often shares glimpses of his luxurious travels on Instagram. Despite retiring in 2017, he remains financially active, participating in lucrative exhibitions.

Recently, Mayweather sparred against Aaron Chalmers, showcasing his enduring boxing skills in a UK fight.

In a recent Instagram post, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather flaunted his extravagant preparation for the Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, where he resides. He showed off checks of him generously treating 34 friends to Super Bowl tickets, totaling $1.1 million.

In the caption, he wrote: "I don't kiss a-- and I never have to beg for nothing, especially not to get a Super Bowl suite."

He continued: "I don't mind accepting invites at times, but one thing's for sure… the person that's paying does all the saying. Therefore I get my own seats and suites so I can do what I want and invite who I want!"

"I'm blessed to be taking 34 people to experience the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas! $1,131,000.00," he added.

However, the Boxing Hall of Fame champion also disclosed paying a staggering $18 million in taxes last year, sharing a photo of a check.

In the caption, he wrote: "Just before I paid that light million and change for that little Super Bowl stuff, I had to pay the IRS aka Uncle Sam $18,047,181 (£14.3million)."

"This is what I owed in taxes while I'm retired, so just imagine what I was paying when I was activated," he added.

Last month, Mayweather, who is now a proud owner of a lavish $50 million private jet dubbed "Air Mayweather," shared a glimpse of his Gulfstream G650 parked on his Instagram story. The luxury aircraft serves as Mayweather's mode of travel to various distant destinations, including Monte Carlo, Hong Kong, Bali, Fiji, and Tokyo.

Adorned with opulent leather seats and a cozy bed, the jet ensures the former professional boxer's comfort during long flights. Additionally, it has an entertainment system to keep him entertained, including high-stakes poker games.
