Alyssa Milano's 'Charmed' Co-Star Addresses Alleged Feud
A recent statement by Alyssa Milano's "Charmed" co-star, Holly Marie Combs, has reignited discussion about the alleged feud between Milano and Shannen Doherty.
Combs took to Instagram earlier this week to address Milano's recent comments regarding her experience on the supernatural drama, which aired from 1998 to 2006. Combs had previously claimed on an episode of Doherty's podcast, "Let's Be Clear," in December that Milano played a role in Doherty's departure from the series, citing tensions on set.
The Instagram post by Combs adds another layer to the ongoing speculation surrounding the behind-the-scenes dynamics of "Charmed." The series, which followed the lives of three sisters with magical abilities, garnered a dedicated fanbase during its run and continues to be a topic of interest among fans of the genre.
Milano's remarks and Combs' response have sparked conversations about the challenges of working in the entertainment industry and the complexities of interpersonal relationships on set. As fans await further developments, the legacy of "Charmed" remains intertwined with the narratives of its cast members, both on and off-screen.
Holly Marie Combs Gets Candid About Past Conflicts
At MegaCon Orlando last week, Milano dismissed any conversation about past conflicts on "Charmed" as "revisionist history."
Combs wrote in the lengthy post: "In the spirit of not being the quiet one or the middle child anymore, I feel the need to defend myself after the many continuing attacks that have ensued since Alyssa stepped out on the stage and essentially called Shannen and I liars, when she was simply asked what it was like to work with Rose (McGowan)."
Combs went on to say that her and Doherty's retelling of their "Charmed" experience is "not revisionist history."
"This is just the history (Alyssa) didn't want people to know about. And the history Shannen wasn't ready to talk about until one month ago," Combs wrote. "No one should have to lie about their own life for the comfort of another."
