Kamala Harris is not holding back her opinions about Donald Trump's part in eliminating federal abortion rights.

The first female Vice Rresident of the US recently aired her displeasure at her "Fight For Reproductive Freedoms" campaign, slamming the former president for his crucial role in overturning Roe v. Wade. In her words, "It's a decision he brags about."

Kamala Harris Says Donald Trump 'Intended' To Remove Abortion Rights

Harris shared her latest criticisms about Trump on Instagram, dropping a snippet from her speech at the reproductive freedom event on February 6. She claimed the older politician "intended" for Roe v. Wade to be overturned during his reign, saying:

"The former President, Donald Trump, hand-picked three members of the United States Supreme Court Justice because he intended for them to overturn Roe. He intended for them to take your freedoms. And it's a decision he brags about."

She continued saying, "He said, 'well, for years,' and I'm going to quote, 'they were trying to get rid of Roe v. Wade,' trying to have it terminated. And then, but he said, I quote, 'I did it,' he said, 'and I'm proud to have done it,' he said."

Repeating Trump's words stung Harris, whose eyes watered with emotions as she stressed the importance of his insensitive remarks. "He is proud, proud, that women across our nation are suffering? Proud? That women have been robbed of a fundamental freedom?" she wondered, adding:

"Proud that doctors could be thrown in prison, in some cases, for life, for caring for patients? That young women today have fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers? How dare he!"

Harris doubled down on Trump's role in destroying the freedom of women in the post's caption, writing: "Make no mistake: Donald Trump hand-picked three Supreme Court Justices so they could overturn Roe."

Her powerful words generated over three hundred fan comments in less than an hour. However, the message board was split between Trump supporters and Harris's fans.

"He sure did! Thank you, Mr. President Trump! We need you back. Trump2024," someone applauded the 77-year-old politician. Another supporter chimed in: "Get another topic, fetus murderer!" While a third declared: "TRUMP IS COMING BACK."

As for Harris supporters, one wrote, "Yes Kamala. What an amazing speech to see yesterday in person. We trust women!" Another fan penned: "We love you, VP Harris!" While an IG user confessed: "I find myself agreeing with @kamalaharris more and more these days!"

Harris's statements about Trump weren't off the mark, as the former president previously bragged about his role in overturning Roe v. Wade. Last May, he took credit for eliminating abortion rights in a lengthy post on his social media page.

"After 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill Roe v. Wade, much to the 'shock' of everyone," the 77-year-old declared.

He claimed his actions placed "the Pro-Life movement in a strong negotiating position" against proponents of abortion rights. The former president patted himself on the back for the abortion limits across the country, declaring:

"Without mbe, there would be no 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or whatever is finally agreed to. Without me, the pro-Life movement would have just kept losing."

Trump's gleeful declaration of his crucial role in overturning Roe v. Wade might have been his way of gathering potential voters in the 2024 presidential run. However, this move could be a problem, given the backlash from those who support abortion rights.
