School Shooter's Mother Jennifer Crumbley Found Guilty In Historic Verdict

Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of school shooter Ethan Crumbley, has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the four murders committed by her son at Oxford High School.

The guilty verdict marks the first time in U.S. history that a parent of a school shooter was charged due to their child's crimes. Her son Ethan, who pleaded guilty to the 24 charges brought against him, was tried as an adult and currently faces life in prison.

In a historic trial that revolved around the topic of whether a parent of a child who commits a mass shooting can also be held criminally accountable, a jury reached a unanimous decision to charge Jennifer Crumbley in connection to her son, Ethan Crumbley's despicable crimes.

According to several reports, the 45-year-old woman was hit with Four charges of involuntary manslaughter, one for each of the victims of the shocking incident at Oxford High School in November 2021.

Jennifer could spend up to 15 years behind bars per count and is currently being held on bond. Her sentencing has been scheduled for April 9.

During the trial, prosecutors brought evidence strong evidence to show that the Crumbley parents, who purchased the gun used in the massacre for their son, ignored warning signs that he had given them before the incident.

Ethan, who is now 17 years old, was tried as an adult and pleaded guilty to terrorism, murder, and multiple other crimes. He was given life in prison without parole following his sentencing in December last year.
