Marvin Gaye III Filed For Divorce After Domestic Violence Allegations

Before hashing out a divorce settlement with his former spouse, Marvin III filed to end the duo's marriage following her domestic violence allegations. In the court documents, he listed their date of separation as January 12, 2023, which was the same day he was accused of pulling a gun on Wendy and her cousin.

The "Let's Get It On" hitmaker's son allegedly attacked his ex-wife and her female relative in their home. According to Wendy's restraining order documents, Marvin III physically attacked her by allegedly grabbing her neck and lifting her off the ground.

Marvin III later turned himself in and was released on a $50k bond. This messy incident marked the end of the ex's 12-year marriage, which began in March 2010. During their romance, the duo had no children; however, the late singer's sons welcomed kids from a previous relationship.

Marvin III has two sons: Marvin Gaye IV, born in 1995, and Dylan, born in 2000. Unlike his spotlight childhood, the 58-year-old has kept a low profile, especially about his marriage to Wendy.
