Sunday's Grammy Awards was a dazzling affair, attracting many renowned figures from the music industry. Among the notable attendees was the acclaimed artist Miley Cyrus, one of the night's big winners.

For her red carpet walk, Cyrus donned a stunning custom-made see-through dress intricately designed with gold mesh, which she paired with matching gold heels. She had a security team in tow, with one holding a black umbrella while walking closely beside the singer.

A video of the red carpet from YouTuber Matt Wallace has since made it to social media and has caused speculations about whether Cyrus is in "danger."

The YouTuber claimed that the arm of the bodyguard that held the umbrella was "not moving at a normal rate," unlike his other arm. He then alleged that the umbrella was either a "concealed weapon" or was part of a "fake hand" prop.

Fans React To The Singer's Grammys Red Carpet Appearance

On X (formerly known as Twitter), some fans of Cyrus agreed with Wallace, with one even fleshing out the "fake hand" theory.

The fan said about the bodyguard, "His coat is unnatural on that side, and the arm holding the umbrella is stiff & never moved. Could be a sign it's a false arm and his actual left arm is on a concealed pistol. There are close protection people that do this, but typically for heads of state, etc. A bit extra."

A second person said, "Fake hand, [the] real one is under the suit holding a gun," while a third added, "Looks like a gun to me."

However, some fans thought Wallace's theory wasn't correct and that the bodyguard was just holding a normal umbrella.

"That's just an umbrella dressed as itself," one person said, while another commented, "[What] is wrong with y'all? It's an umbrella."

"A bodyguard with an umbrella, I don't see what's so strange about that," said another individual.

Some people also claimed that the bodyguard was holding the umbrella due to recent downpours.

One X netizen remarked, "It's an umbrella because it's raining. I know people dislike her, but I doubt anyone is trying to harm her."

A second one said. "It's been raining pretty bad in LA; an umbrella seems fitting."
