Jessica Simpson Pitied By Own Fans In Leather Shorts And Heeled Boots

Jessica Simpson was given a hard time by her own Instagram followers as she showed off a leggy look while modeling leather shorts back in September 2022. The fashion mogul, 43, was all dolled up in another of her stylish outfits as she was invited by Nordstrom for an event highlighting her Jessica Simpson Style brand, but fans seemed less interested in the high-profile moment and more in trolling her. While Simpson looked gorgeous in her thigh-skimming shorts and massive heeled boots getup, fans were ripping her apart on account of her appearance, although Jessica does not appear to have responded to the comments.

All smiles as she posed from a Nordstrom store and backed by the chain's sign and her own brand's logo on a wall, Jessica showed off her slender figure in a tiny pair of faux leather shorts in black.

Adding in a low-cut black bodysuit and statement metallic belt, the Dukes of Hazzard star drew attention to her toned, tan legs and teeny waist, completing her outfit via an open printed jacket in green and black, plus a knee-high, sparkle-accent pair of black boots with a high heel and hanging sash detail.

Smiling as she placed one hand to her hip and sported her trademark blonde locks down and poker straight, Jessica glammed up with a full face of makeup, going heavy on the sunkissed bronzer and dark eyeliner. In a swipe right, the mom of three revealed that she'd brought her family along for the event. Posing first with kids Ace, Maxwell, and Birdie Mae, the star was then joined by husband Eric Johnson for a full family snap to close the gallery.

"Thank you so very much for havin’ me this weekend @nordstrom! I mean I’m always there shoppin’ with the fam, but being in store this past weekend was an entirely wild next level experience. I appreciate the @jessicasimpsonstyle support and love from each and every person I was blessed to meet and chat with. It was magic for my kids to witness. They think I’m kinda awesome right now ?It was beautiful to hug y’all after 2.5yrs! Let’s do it again soon please ?," she wrote.

Fans didn't hold back. "She looks like the versace old lady," one user said. Also referencing fashion queen Donatella Versace, another wrote: "Creepy! Is that Donatella?"

Fans also appeared in the mood to body-shame Simpson. "Someone with a waist that small, who is also standing that unnatural way with the arm hanging down in front to make it look even smaller, does not realize they are that small, and that bums me out," one user said.

Jessica proves a target for just about anything these days. Fans claimed she was too heavy prior to her dropping 100 pounds in 2019. Now they think she's too skinny. The star also regularly falls under fire as fans claim she's had work done to her lips.
