Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift has sent her fanbase, the Swifties, into a frenzy after hinting at the release of the re-recording of her most controversial album to date, "Reputation."
The star, who is known for her easter eggs and clues, has altered the image of her profile photos across social media to a color that seemingly pays homage to her "Reputation" era ahead of the Grammy Awards.
Taylor Swift Changes Her Profile Photos To Black & White
Swift may have just announced her next music project in a very subtle but impactful way, and it is one her fans have been waiting for.
After embarking on the hectic task of re-recording her first six albums, with "1989 TV" being the last one she released, Swift has finally landed on her most rebellious album yet, "Reputation."
The 34-year-old may have given fans a hint at the upcoming release by changing all of her profile photos across social media to black and white. Swifties are convinced that this is a nod to "Reputation TV" and also believe she will announce the project at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
The singer initially released the album in 2017 following the highly publicized dispute between her, rapper Kanye West, and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. At the time, Swift's spat with the former couple caused her integrity to be called into question, with many taking the chance to bash her.
Instead of running and hiding, Swift took her newfound reputation and created the album "Reputation," which included songs like "Look What You Made Me Do" and "Ready For It?" that seemingly addressed the controversy at the time.
"Reputation TV" will mark Swift's fifth album from her first six albums to get the re-record treatment, with only her debut album, "Taylor Swift," left to redo.

Amongst all of Swift's albums, "Reputation TV" might be the most anticipated by the singer's fanbase. Following her subtle hint at the album with the profile image change, Swifties have already taken to social media to show their excitement for the album.
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one Swiftie said, "WHAT IF TAYLORSWIFT SURPRISE DROPS LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO TV RIGHT AFTER THE REP TV ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE GRAMMYS?"

"So... I guess we must all go change our profile pics to black and white now?" another Swiftie commented.
Taylor Swift Is Nominated For Six Awards At The 2024 Grammys
Amid the hype for the potential release of "Reputation (Taylor's Version)," Swift is set to perform at the 2024 Grammy Awards tonight, taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Once again, the "New Romantic" singer is one of the few artists up for multiple awards, clinching six nominations, two more than the nods she got from the previous year.
Due to her recent romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce making headlines, fans hoped the pair would make their red carpet debut at the music awards ceremony. Unfortunately, Kelce will likely be a no-show due to reports about his schedule.
Kelce's possible absence from the 2024 Grammy Awards has raised eyebrows from fans of the singer who expected him to attend the show, as Swift has shown up at several of his games in the past few months.
According to a report, Kelce's absence has no connection to any issues in their relationship. Instead, it's solely due to his "strict schedule" for the Chiefs' matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in the upcoming Super Bowl.
