Adding, "A conviction for a third DWI will result in a minimum prison sentence of two years and a maximum of ten years in prison (not a county jail). Even if you are granted probation, you will have to serve at least ten days in jail as part of a plea agreement. This usually cannot be waived."

According to Texas criminal records, Mr. Mahomes has been arrested on multiple occasions over the past 15 years, with a handful of mugshots in the system.

Mahomes Sr. was arrested for his second driving while intoxicated charge in 2018, according to jail records. His 40-day sentence was served on weekends from February 2019 to February 2020.

This is not the only legal trouble the Mahomes family has encountered, as Patrick's younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, was accused of non-consensual misconduct by a woman named Aspen Vaughn. He faces a sexual assault case filed against him by a restaurant owner. However, Jackson caught a big break as Jackson’s lawyer continued to preach his innocence, and a judge recently ruled in his favor.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Brandan Davies has been extremely confident in winning the case, declaring:

“Like I said from the beginning, Jackson has done nothing wrong. We had full confidence that the truth of the matter would ultimately be revealed. The defense will reserve further comment until the remaining count is disposed of.”

The 23-year-old, who has over a million followers on TikTok, was visiting the woman's Aspens Restaurant and Lounge business in Kansas City when Jackson allegedly pushed a waiter who attempted to access the room he was in.

Per our previous report, "After chasing the waiter away, he grabbed Vaughn and reportedly kissed her three times without consent. In her conversation with authorities, the restaurant owner described Jackson as her step-daughter’s friend and noted he had once been asked to leave her establishment."

Jackson also sparked controversy in September 2021 after he was caught pouring water on a Baltimore Ravens fan following the Chiefs loss.
