'Halloween' actress Jamie Lee Curtis is celebrating a huge sobriety milestone as she tells others to just take it "one day at a time."

As you may know, Curtis has been open and honest about her "opiate addiction" as she battled it head-on, with no one else knowing about it.

The 65-year-old took to social media on February 3, 2024, to announce she is still "clean and sober" as she shared a touching photo and heartwarming message to others who may be struggling or who are also going through sobriety.

Curtis, who is known for her roles in 'Halloween' and 'Freaky Friday', has battled with addiction for years, but finally decided to do something about it. Now, thanks to her strength and perseverance, she is 25 years sober.

To celebrate her milestone, she took to social media, sharing a candid and heartfelt post, along with a touching photo.

"25 years clean and sober. One day at a time. 9,125 of them," she wrote alongside a black and white snap of her holding up her 25-year sobriety chip. "What's inside, as my old friend Adam sang, is a sense of calm, serenity, purpose, and the greatest feeling that I am not alone. That many others share the same disease and solution," the actress added.

She then had a message to "all those struggling with addiction and shame" stating that "there are others out here who care."

"My hand in yours. Our hands in yours. XO JLC," she concluded.

Many famous friends of Curtis's commented on the candid post, congratulating her on her milestone and thanking her for her vulnerability. Actress Mary Steenburgen wrote, "You are inspiring in so many ways, Jamie. Thank you for the gift of sharing your well-earned 25 chip."

Drag queen Mrs. Kasha Davis shared "Thank you for sharing your experiences, strength & hope! You inspire many including this fellow alcoholic #onedayatatime."

Plus, sober coach, Jen Hirst, thanked the actress for being so "open and honest about [her] journey."

"Woohoo!!!! Congratulations on 25!!!! Absolutely incredible!" she wrote, adding, "Thank you so much for being so open and honest about your journey ? It is truly helping so many out there!"

Many other fans took to the comment section to share their appreciation for the actress's honesty and candidness, as one fan expressed, "Congratulations Jamie! I just celebrated 27 years - one day at a time."

Another shared, "Wow! 25 years is Outstanding! I’m 6 days shy of 4 months. [The] hardest thing I’ve ever done."

"I've got 17 yrs. .. that first 2 [years] were hard," one of her fans wrote, adding, "But now it's amazing to live in the sunlight of the spirit."
