'Hootie & the Blowfish' singer Darius Rucker, who was arrested for drug possession, was reportedly busted with several different kinds of drugs on him.

According to law enforcement, Rucker was allegedly found with marijuana and 14 purple unmarked pills, which have been identified as "psilocin."

Country music sensation Rucker was found to allegedly be in the possession of multiple drugs after being stopped and searched by cops last year in February in Williamson County, Tennessee.

According to an arrest affidavit, Rucker was stopped by police last year after they observed that the tags on his vehicle seemed to have expired. They reportedly confirmed this using a computer in their car. This drug bust actually happened last year, but Rucker turned himself in on Thursday.

A report claims  police officers smelt marijuana coming from the singer's car and asked him if he had smoked that evening, to which Rucker swiftly replied with a "No." However, he allegedly noted that he may have smoked earlier in the day, but just not in the evening.

After proceeding to search his car, the police claim to have found 14 unmarked purple pills and what they believed to be a THC pen. Rucker allegedly said that his girlfriend, Summer, gave him some of the incriminating items.

An officer then told Rucker that he was going to get patted down, which allegedly caused the country star to hand over a tiny marijuana blunt from his pocket before the officer could proceed.

The police asserted that after testing the 14 unmarked pills, they discovered that they contained psilocin, a schedule I controlled substance related to magic mushrooms or psilocybin.

Following his arrest after turning himself in on Thursday, Rucker was released on that same day on a $10,500 bail.

After Rucker's release, the singer's lawyer shared a statement, noting that he "is fully cooperating with authorities related to misdemeanor charges."

Rucker, who is famous for the radio hit songs "Hold My Hand" and "Only Wanna Be With You," once got candid about his "wild" days during an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

"Doing drugs and drinking every night -- I've done that," Rucker told the news outlet. "Trust me, I've done enough for everybody. And it's just not how I want to live anymore."

As previously reported by The Blast, after the country star's arrest, his ex-girlfriend Kate Quigley took to social media to slam Rucker, calling him a "d-b--" and saying his legal troubles are because of "Karma."

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Quigley wrote, "Yes. I've heard. All I can say is Karma."

The comedienne then took it a step further on her Instagram page by sharing a photo of her wearing a blue two-piece and a hat with her tongue sticking out. She captioned the photo: "#Mood: when u hear your d-bag ex got arrested..."

Not much is known about Rucker and Quigley's relationship or why they called it quits, but the former couple reportedly went their separate ways shortly after the comedienne suffered an accidental overdose.

At a neighbor's party, she allegedly used cocaine laced with fentanyl with fellow comedians Enrico Colangeli, Fuquan Johnson, and Natalie Williamson.

The overdose incident was quite dire as it led to the death of Colangeli, Johnson, and Williamson.

At the time, Quigley made a heartbreaking statement on their deaths, saying, "I am still shocked & devastated by the loss of my friends Fu, Rico, and Natalie. Words cannot describe the pain I am feeling & I will be changed forever by their passings."
