Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's contentious split has hit a new low!
In the latest update, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum has accused her estranged husband, of stealing "hundreds of thousands of dollars" worth of her personal items amid their contentious divorce.
Kroy Biermann Has Allegedly Failed To Return Kim Zolciak's Expensive Items
Kim Zolciak continues to be in conflict with Kroy Biermann, visiting the police station earlier this month with an unidentified female friend to officially report the alleged theft of her expensive jewelry and purses by the former football player.
Now, weeks later, it appears things could get even worse as an insider close to the situation claimed there has been no change. Succinctly put, Zolciak's reported missing items are still unaccounted for.
Recently released bodycam footage showed the reality television star informing the police about her missing belongings that first disappeared in May 2023. In the video, she stated, "I've asked for them back, and he won't give them back."
Zolciak claimed that Biermann placed the expensive items in a safe in their master bedroom, and she had no access to it for a while. She revealed calling the cops to her residence in an attempt to recover her belongings.
The clip also showcased a distressed Zolciak pleading with the police, alleging threats and past physical altercations by her ex. Meanwhile, Biermann, from behind the bedroom door, asserted he "didn't do anything" and expressed concerns about his safety.
According to PageSix, law enforcement successfully mediated the situation, leading the former Atlanta Falcons player to return his estranged wife's comforter, medications, phone charger, and neck cream.
Despite that, Zolciak has claimed in new footage that the pricier items, including diamond jewelry, purses, and a watch, are no longer in the safe where she thought they were stored. She asserted breaking into the locked vault and discovering that "everything is gone." The mother-of-six mentioned in the video:
"My attorney said I need to file a police report because the stuff is stolen."
She further expressed shock when a jeweler sent her pictures on Instagram, stating, "I love your bracelets. I'm so thankful." Additionally, the "Don't Be Tardy" star alleged that Biermann earned $25,000 from selling some of her belongings.
Zolciak's outburst led the officer meeting with her to clarify that due to her and Biermann still being married, the police could not intervene. He explained that from the time they exchanged vows, "Yours becomes his and his becomes yours."
He added, "Until that divorce has been finalized, there is no technical crime that is being committed right now."
Zolciak & Biermann Lowered The Price Of Their House To Attract Potential Buyers
Trying to find out who allegedly stole what is one of many problems in the Zolciak-Biermann camp. As The Blast previously reported, the estranged pair have been grappling with significant financial challenges, which has caused them to slash the listing price of their Georgia mansion.
Originally priced at $6 million, the duo's home saw reductions to $5.5 million before it went further down to $4.5 million this month. Despite these cuts, there have been no substantial takers for the property.
During the initial price cut, court documents revealed Biermann's emphasis on the urgency to sell the 9,407-square-foot property, citing dire financial circumstances for him and his on-again-off-again spouse. The paperwork, at the time, read:
"The only asset they currently own with equity is the marital residence. The mortgage is held in the petitioner's name. However, it is set to be foreclosed in November."
It further highlighted, "The current living situation is unsustainable and is detrimental to the mental and emotional health of the minor children. If the marital residence is sold, it will afford both parties enough income to secure their residences, thus taking the children out of the toxic environment."
Their desperation to sell the home might have something to do with Truist Bank's declaration that they were granted the "right to foreclose" following Zolciak and Biermann's default on their mortgage.
While acknowledging the ongoing divorce, the bank asserted that the proceedings did not affect its foreclosure rights. In October 2023, the couple sought a judge's intervention to halt the bank's foreclosure auction, and the bank voluntarily delayed the auction in November.
However, with the property remaining unsold, it has now expressed impatience and plans to exercise its foreclosure rights to collect on the debt.
