Jason previously addressed the retirement rumors on his ‘New Heights’ podcast, telling listeners and his brother, Travis Kelce, “I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really, you know, make that decision. I just don’t. There’s too much emotion in the moment. There’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision."

He added, "I’m not trying to be dramatic to continue to draw this thing out. I’m really not.”

Jason Kelce has been cheering on his brother and the Kansas City Chiefsthroughout the NFL playoffs. Last weekend, the team made it into Super Bowl LVIII after beating the Baltimore Ravens. They will face the San Francisco 49ers on February 11.

"[The Chiefs] are an easy team to root for," Jason told The Philadelphia Inquirer of his brother's team. "This is a team that has not been ... had their roses, and been the easiest road for them. They fought, they’ve overcome adversity, they’ve stayed together through all the nonsense."

He added, "When everybody doubted them when everybody said they don’t have the guys to get it done, they still find themselves going to the biggest game in the world for football.”

It is expected that Jason, his wife, Kylie, Travis’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and the Kelce parents, Donna and Ed, all will be in attendance. The Super Bowl will take place on February 11.
