Supermodel Gisele Bündchen's Mother's Cause Of Death Revealed

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen's mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, has reportedly passed away at the age of 75. She died at Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre Sunday.

Nonnenmacher, who was a retired banker, was married to Valdir Bündchen, a university professor. The couple shared six daughters, including Gisele and her twin sister Patricia.

According to a report, Brazillian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has lost her mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher. The 75-year-old passed away on Sunday following her battle with cancer.

Besides Gisele, Nonnenmacher had five other daughters, namely Patrícia, Rafaela, Raquel, Graziela, and Gabriela. She was also a retired banker who once worked at Banco do Brasil.

There will be a wake for Nonnenmacher at the Metropolitan Crematorium in Porto Alegre's Ecumenical Chapel on Monday morning, after which a farewell ceremony will follow.

In the meantime, Gisele has yet to speak on the death of her mother. She last shared a series of photos of Nonnenmacher in 2022 to mark her 73rd birthday.

Gisele wrote at the time, "Happy birthday, Mom! I am forever grateful for all that you have done and continue to do for us. Thank you for always loving, inspiring, and teaching us. Thank you for giving me life! Love you so much!"

During a conversation with Harper's Bazaar for a cover shoot, Gisele shared a heartwarming memory of her mother while noting how she inspired her meal planning.

She said, "If we had [a] barbecue on Sundays, all the rest of the meat would go to arroz carreteiro on Mondays, which was just rice and meat mixed with some onions and tomatoes."

The supermodel also shared a heartwarming post to her mother in March 2022, for International Women's Day, gushing about how grateful she was to the women in her life.

Gisele wrote, "Happy International Women's Day! I am so grateful to all the amazing women that have crossed my path and inspired me, especially my [wonderful] mom and my sweet daughter."

She continued, "May we celebrate each other and all the incredible women that came before us paving the way for us to be where we are today. Sending so much love to all of you on our special day."

Although Gisele has yet to publicly speak on her mother's death, fans of the supermodel have already flooded her social media accounts with comments of support.

One person wrote, "My condolences my dear we know how much you loved your beautiful mother, stay strong."

Another person said, "My condolences!! May God comfort the whole family at this very difficult time."

"I'm sorry, Gisele. May the Lord take your heart in his hands and take care of you," a third individual noted.
