Alyssa Milano is breaking her silence after the backlash she received from requesting the public’s help in financing her son’s baseball team.

As you may know, the 'Charmed' actress was under fire after she shared a link to her GoFundMe page, which was set up to raise donations for her son's baseball team's trip to Cooperstown.

The post gained the attention of many, but not in the way Milano had hoped as many users replied to the actress, calling her a "tone-deaf multimillionaire celebrity" and "privileged."

Now, the 51-year-old is clapping back at the haters.

After raising over $8,000 -- just $2,000 away from their goal -- Alyssa Milano took to social media, once again -- this time to thank those who supported her son's baseball team.

"I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team," she began, adding that she has "paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown birthday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues."

The 'Charmed' actress went on to say that "the kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things! Thank you to all who have contributed to the GoFundMe! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families.”

In other words, she is just being a great mom who is supporting her son's sports. And, it appears she is going above and beyond for them.

After her statement, she still received hate from many, who continued to call her "tone-deaf" and "disrespectful."

"There’s nothing wrong with kids of rich people doing fundraising and learning skills," one user wrote, adding, "but leveraging your audience to fundraise for them does not teach them anything."

While many initially attacked Milano for her request, others are now backing up the actress. One fan wrote:

"It’s unreal, right away, just because you’re an actress, people think you have to fund the entire thing. There’s not a damn thing wrong with your doing this. It’s a great example for the kids to see you as Alyssa the Mom, not Alyssa the actress. This world is overrun with/Karens!"

To which the actress responded with, "I know. And I would if I could."

Another said:

"Thank you for helping give these boys an opportunity to play baseball. As a former college baseball coach and athletic director, I respect people who give so much of their time, treasures and talents for the kids. Everyone has something they can contribute."

As one user commented:

"The fact that your haters expect you to pay for everything for the team is ridiculous, considering the whole point of being on a team is for them to learn how to work together towards a common goal

They’re always going to find ways to tear you down, my Shero, & I love you for never letting them stop you."

The GoFundMe, which is still currently live, states, "Baseball is life and our teammates are our brothers. Baseball gives us purpose, and we are driven to be our very best. In order to compete, we must raise funds."

So far, the campaign has received nearly 270 donations with a total of $8,140.
