After weeks of investigation into the Ferrari crash involving Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan, law enforcement announced that he would not face charges due to a lack of substantive evidence to proceed with the case.
The actor came under investigation for the crash he suffered in December after a video showed his $420,000 Ferrari 812 Superfast speeding through the streets of Hollywood and crashing into a parked Kia.
Michael B. Jordan Will Not Be Charged For Ferrari Crash
The incident occurred last month when the "Creed III" star's Ferrari was involved in a high-speed collision with another vehicle in Los Angeles. According to a report, LAPD subsequently launched an investigation into the incident after video evidence that captured the moments leading up to the accident surfaced.
However, according to law enforcement, the case has now been closed as investigators were unable to gather enough evidence to support charging Jordan in connection with the crash. They were unable to prove if he was the one driving the car when it crashed.
At the time of the incident, Jordan was not subjected to a field sobriety test to determine if he was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and allegedly did not explain what happened to authorities when he was quizzed.

Video footage captured the 36-year-old entertainer's blue Ferrari in what appeared to be a race with another red one on the streets of Hollywood before seemingly losing control and ramming into a parked KIA Niro SUV, which cost less than a tenth of Jordan's car.
Although no one came out hurt, both cars sustained substantial damages as the front panel of the actor's passenger side came off, while the driver-side of the Kia also got badly damaged.
According to the Daily Mail, a source confirmed that "it was an actual accident," as against speculations that ensued because of the video.
"Michael was annoyed that he ruined his car, but that can get fixed. He was, and is, embarrassed about it all as he accidentally had his foot on the gas and didn't brake in time," the insider noted. "'One thing led to another, and the parked car was where it was, and all the puzzle pieces just landed in an unfortunate way. He is happy nobody was hurt."
Michael B. Jordan And Ryan Coogler Re-Collaboration In The Works
Besides the car crash incident, Jordan is reportedly teaming up with "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler for another feature film project, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Details about the movie are being kept under wraps, but it is said that Coogler wrote the script and would be directing the film.
The project has been described as a "genre" film and has allegedly drawn the attention of top Hollywood executives who visited Coogler's rep to take a look at the script and get wind of what it's about.
Interested parties will reportedly meet with Coogler next week to hear his vision for the film.
Michael B. Jordan To Direct 'Creed IV'
According to Deadline, Jordan is gearing up to take on a new role behind the camera as he prepares to direct the highly anticipated "Creed IV," despite reported tensions between Sylvester Stallone, the iconic star of the "Rocky" franchise, and producer Irwin Winkler.
The announcement was made by Winkler sometime last November when he stated that Jordan would be directing and starring in the movie.
"We have a really good story [and] a really good plot. We got a little delayed because of the strikes, but about a year from now, we're going into pre-production," Winkler said.
The feud between Stallone and Winkler has been linked to the rights of "Rocky." Stallone, who played the legendary Rocky Balboa in the original "Rocky" films and has served as a mentor to Jordan's character in the "Creed" series, is seeking Winkler to give him an ownership stake in the character, especially because he's the creator.
In a 2022 Instagram post, Stallone made his reservations known by writing, "After IRWIN WINKLER And FAMILY SUCK ROCKY DRY! Presumed to be the most hated, untalented, decrepited, Producer in Hollywood and his cowardly children have found their next meal… Drago, RETURN MY RIGHTS BLOODSUCKERS!"
Jordan has not publicly commented on the ongoing feud between both parties.
