Will Smith made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem while shooting the new live-action "Aladdin," and even went on a guided tour of the Old City.
Smith was seen Thursday walking through a market wearing an Adidas tracksuit, then placing his hand on one of the holiest landmarks in the city, the Western Wall.
We're told he's in Israel shooting scenes for the recently revealed reboot of Aladdin, which will be directed by Guy Ritchie. Smith took in some sight-seeing between filming.
A local Jewish TV station caught up with the actor, who said he was "Chillin’ by the Western Wall ... We’re a couple of stories down from the Dome of the Rock.”
Smith, who will play the Genie in the Disney flick, said, “It’s a very spiritual, very powerful place. I feel honored to be here.”
