50 Centis being sued by a woman who claims the rapper threw a microphone on stage, striking her in the face.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Bryhana Monegain says she was hit in the face and wrist by a flying microphone tossed by 50 Cent during a concert.
As we reported, a video surfaced of the incident, showing the rapper tossing the mic in a crowd after becoming frustrated with the sound system. At the time, it didn't appear that 50 Cent was trying to hit anyone, in particular, with the object.
Following the incident, Bryhana was transported to a local hospital in Los Angeles after receiving injuries from the impact. The concert was taking place at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena and Bryhanna is a host of the Power 106, a hip-hop station in the area.
50 Cent's Microphone Throw Caught On Video!
"On or about August 30, 2023, [Bryhana] was lawfully on the [concert stage] and in the crowd watching Defendants G-Unit and [50 Cent's] performance when he realized his microphone was not working, and threw the microphone towards a crowed area, causing the microphone to strike [her] face and left wrist and resulting in severe and permanent injuries," the lawsuit states.
Adding, "Immediately after the incident, she was transported by ambulance to the Los Angeles General Medical Center emergency department for treatment of injuries, including but not limited to, a concussion, laceration over her forehead, and pain in her left wrist. She complained of dizziness, headaches, light and sound sensitivity, and nausea."

If you have heard this story before, it's because the video went viral and 50 Cent was investigated for battery by the authorities. But, the D.A.’s Office did not pursue the matter and passed the responsibility to the L.A. City Attorney’s office. Prosecutors decided he will not be re-evaluated for possible criminal charges as long as he stays out of trouble.
At this point, Monegain says she "continues to suffer from severe injuries and emotional distress."
The victim's attorneys John Morgan and Casey Kilday issued a statement about the lawsuit, saying:
"Our client is pursuing a case against Curtis Jackson, professionally known as ‘50 Cent’ and his touring company, G-UNIT Touring, for the assault she allegedly suffered through no fault of her own at his concert on August 30, 2023, at LA’s Crypto.com Arena. She was simply an attendee trying to enjoy herself when a heavy object came catapulting toward her face. No matter who the assailant is, this alleged act of negligence and violence is unacceptable, and we will hold 50 Cent and his co-defendants accountable for their alleged actions."
Adding, "Mr. Jackson has himself previously said that ‘If the talk ain't [a]bout money, homie, I ain't concerned,’ so we are confident our client will be fairly and justly compensated for the injuries she suffered."
