Ellen Page claims director Brett Ratner “outed” her on the set of “X-Men: The Last Stand,”by telling another woman “You should f**k her to make her realize she’s gay.”
Page, in a lengthy Facebook post Friday afternoon, alleged Ratner made these comments during a cast and crew meet and greet before the movie began production.
She says, “I was a young adult who had not yet come out to myself … I felt violated when this happened … He ‘outed’ me with no regard for my well-being, an act we all recognize as homophobic.”
Page claimed she also witnessed Ratner say “degrading things” to other women on set.
Anna Paquin, who co-starred alongside Page in the 2006 film, tweeted in support, and claimed she also heard the comment.
