‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown's New Beau Shockingly Reveals He Has 3 Ex-Wives

Meri Brown has a lot more in common with her new boyfriend, Amos, as his past relationships came to light in a candid interview.

The "Sister Wives" star recently sat down for a joint interview with her new man, allowing fans to learn more about Amos. However, the tables turned on her when she discovered there was more to know about her lover, like his multiple ex-wives.

Days after unveiling her new lover, Meri sat down with Amos for the latest installment of her "Fridays With Friends" Instagram Live session. The adorable couple flaunted their romance with matching black hoodies while staying close to each other as the reality TV star's best pal, Jenn Sullivan, quizzed them.

During Sullivan's virtual interview, she got Amos to reveal his past marriages to three women. The announcement surprised Meri, who exclaimed, "What?!" seemingly implying that she never knew about her beau's ex-wives.

Despite the shocking revelation, the TLC star swiftly regained her composure and assured Amos she wasn't bothered by his past relationships. "I sort of have three ex-sister wives and an ex-husband. I beat you," she heartily chimed.

Before meeting Amos, Meri was in a plural marriage with Kody Brown. Her former husband is currently left with one wife after three of his four lovers walked out the door. The polygamous union is the center of the "Sister Wives" series, something the entertainer's new man found concerning.

When Sullivan asked Amos: "Can you tell me if Meri being an ex-polygamist in the public eye on a television show raised any red flags?" He confessed: "Yes, yes, it was a little."

Then Meri jumped in to explain why her public status affected Amos, recalling that she revealed her reality TV background on the duo's second date. In her words:

"I think it was the second time we talked. He was like, 'Yeah, I'm a really private person." I'm like, 'Really?' He's like, 'Yeah. I'm not on social media. I'm a really private person. I don't let a lot of people into my life.' I'm like, 'Oh, so how private are you really?'"

Despite his initial reservations about dating a public figure, Amos seems to have adjusted nicely to his newfound fame and didn't mind locking lips with Meri in front of fans. The couple sweetly kissed after Sullivan tried to find out what "base" they had gotten to after months of dating.

"I thought first base was the only one that mattered. That's all I'm used to. I mean, there is a potential [for a homerun]. Oh my goodness, can we stop?" Meri replied before turning red in embarrassment. She also noted that her dog, Zona, got jealous whenever the pair kissed.

As for how they met, Meri admitted she reached out to Amos first, saying: "I did pursue him." This revelation made her sweetly recall their first date and how he made her feel loved.

"The first night that we went out, he hugged me, and honestly, it was the best hug. I just stood there and just let him keep hugging me. It was just a really very, very safe hug," she confessed, adding: "We're happy, and we like each other a lot, a lot."

The Lizzie's Heritage Inn owner announced her new relationship shortly after her 53rd birthday. In an Instagram post, she shared multiple images from her time with Amos, including snaps of them outdoors with her dog, Zona.

All the pictures had one thing in common — the duo posing happily with Meri's irresistible bright smile on full display. Her newfound happiness similarly echoed throughout the post's caption, which began:

"Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good looking guy I've been dating since October!"

This revelation was shocking for several reasons, as it came months after Meri ended her longtime marriage to Kody in January 2023. The couple's romance also coincided with the same month former wife, Christine Brown, said her vows to her new husband, David Woolley.

While Meri didn't dwell on the coincidence, she happily raved about Amos and their blossoming relationship. Her caption read: "He's not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!"

As for why she kept her relationship a secret, the inn owner explained that she didn't wish to share their progress in the early stages of their romance. However, the pair's love had since grown so she could tell fans about Amos.
