The Tigers' victorious performance on Friday was spearheaded by Haleigh Bryant, now the all-time 10 leader in school history. LSU head coach Jay Clark expressed satisfaction, stating, "We needed that. It's good to know that we have options. We told the team all along that we wanted to be able to mix things up and to be able to get some different looks to see what really looks the best in the end. Overall, we're just proud of them, Kentucky is a great team, a lot of credit goes to them. This is a tough place for people to compete."
Arenas comes from a gymnastics lineage, as her mother, Kim, was a distinguished athlete who secured two consecutive NCAA full-national titles during her career. Following in her mother's footsteps, she competed for Team USA in the American Classic in 2017, where she clinched the first-place position in the All-Around competition. The Arenas family's legacy in gymnastics continues with the LSU athlete's impressive achievements.
