'Beverly Hills, 90210' Actor David Gail Passes Away At 58

David Gail, best known for his role on 'Beverly Hills, 90210' and 'Port Charles' has passed away at the age of 58.

As you know, the late actor played the iconic role of Dr. Joe Scanlon in the 'General Hospital' spinoff 'Port Charles.' He also played Stuart Carson in 'Beverly Hills, 90210.'

Peter Ferriero, who hosts a 'Beverly Hills, 90210' rewatch podcast, took to Instagram to speak out following Gaail's death.

“For those that have contacted me ‘Why is this not showing up on Google?’ Please stop,” Ferriero wrote in an Instagram Story on Saturday. “The family will report it at the appropriate time to them. I am sharing what I’ve been told to make sure his fans know what has happened. Thank you.”

Fans paid tribute to the actor as one user commented, "Really shocked and saddened by this news. I thought Stuart was a fab addition, and David played it so well. Even Tom was cool! Do glad that @peterferriero tracked him down so we got to hear his tales at '90210'. Prayers for all his family and friends."

Another said, "Omg...I can't believe it.. I actually really liked the Brenda/Stuart storyline..He was a great addition to the cast..RIP."

"So young so talented may he RIP and strength love prayers to the family and friends!" one user wrote.

One of Gail's friends took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, writing, "RIP to my old pal David Gail ,He was fun to be around ,we went to the Bahamas diving ,he was a good guy!"

Gail's sister, Katie Colmenares, is the one who reported his death, remembering him as her "wingman" and "best friend."

"There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me," she wrote.

She added, "The bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another."

The tributes continued pouring in as one of Gail's fans said, "Aww. I actually liked his character on BH & liked him w/ Brenda. Saw him on a podcast a few months back where he was asked if he got any hate from the Brenda & Dylan fans & he said no."

Another simply wrote, "Awww sooo Heartbreaking," as one user commented, "Very sad news."

A cause of death for David Gail has yet to be announced.
