Donald Trump Compared To Joe Biden For 'Senile' Moment

Social media users are comparing Donald Trump to Joe Biden for having a "senile" moment after a rally on Saturday where he discussed the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

Others are saying Trump is "unwell and unfit to serve" as President of the United States.

Here's why -

During a Saturday rally, the former President began discussing the January 6th attacks on Capitol Hill, where he referenced Nikki Haley multiple times, when, in reality, he meant to name Nancy Pelosi. 

 “By the way, they never report the crowd on January 6. You know, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley … did you know they destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it? All of it, because of lots of things, like Nikki Haley is in charge of security, we offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, national guards, whatever they want. They turned it down.”

As you may know, Nikki Haley was not in office at the time of the January 6th attacks on Capitol Hill.

Following the former President's comments, social media users began speaking out, comparing Trump to Biden for being "senile."

"A senile Joe Biden goes on a weird rant, calling Nancy Pelosi 'Nikki Haley' 4 times as he lies about calling in the national guard... Oops, no, my mistake... that was Trump last night," media producer Brian Krassenstein wrote alongside a video of Trump's rally.

Another user wrote, "A few important facts. 1. The Speaker of the House is not in charge of Capitol security. It's the Capitol Police Board. 2. Nikki Haley was NEVER the House Speaker. 3. Trump is unwell and unfit to serve. PASS IT ON."

As one social media user said, "Wow, while rambling about January 6th, a confused Trump blames Nikki Haley for January 6th and says she was in charge of security for the Capitol."

The Republican presidential candidate herself spoke out, slamming Donald Trump for his comments at the rally.

“Last night, Trump is at a rally, and he’s going on and on mentioning me several times as to why I didn’t take security during the Capitol riots. Why I didn’t handle January 6 better. I wasn’t even in DC on January 6. I wasn’t in office then,” she said, per CNN, adding, "They’re saying he got confused. That he was talking about something else. That he was talking about Nancy Pelosi. He mentioned me multiple times in that scenario."

When visiting New Hampshire during her Presidential run, Haley told attendees, “The concern I have is – I’m not saying anything derogatory, but when you’re dealing with the pressures of a presidency, we can’t have someone else that we question whether they’re mentally fit to do it.”

Donald Trump has yet to comment on the reported mix-up.
