'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood' star Masika Kalysha has filed to annul her marriage with former football player, Jamar Champ.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the former reality television star is looking to nullify her marriage to Champ. As you may know, an annulment differs from a divorce, as annulling a marriage is asking the entire thing to be considered invalid from the beginning.
This latest bombshell comes after a rollercoaster of a relationship between the two. As you may know, the two got engaged four months after they began dating. Shortly thereafter, reports surfaced that Masika called off the engagement, but Jamar quickly shut those rumors down as he stated the wedding was still on.

Masika and Jamar share a daughter Amari Hermes. She is also the mother to Khari Barbie, whom she shares with Fetty Wap.
The rapper is currently incarcerated, meaning Masika is taking on the parenting responsibilities, which she claims is an adjustment. “You know, it is still taking a lot to get used to. It’s the new norm, which I’m not ready to accept that. You know, and it’s just… my daughter, she’s seven. So it really affects her," Masika said.
"But we’re working with it, we’re working together, they communicate very often. We’re just trying to figure out the healthiest way to manage this until he comes home," the former reality TV star continued.
When asked of the possibility if she would ever take her daughter to visit her father in prison, she said:
“Only a hundred times. You know, it’s a big difference from taking your daughter to sold-out arenas to see her dad than taking her to an institution like that. But, you know, at the end of the day, that’s still her dad. So we’re gonna make it work, and he’ll be home soon. And y’all make sure to keep streaming his music so I can get my check.”
Masika Kalysha Fakes Her Own Kidnapping
Fans may remember Masika Kalysha as she was fired from the hit series ‘Double Cross’ after she faked her own kidnapping while on the set of the show.
Following the news, she released a statement, which read, "While on set fully immersed in my character, for season two of 'Double Crossed', a show that bravely displays the reality and tragedy of human trafficking, I got caught up in the excitement of the moment and chose to use my platform to bring an essential topic to light by displaying my efforts to support the end of human trafficking. It is imperative that you understand the public’s safety and the victims are paramount to my actions. I made no money, nor was it ever my intent."
She added, "With that being said, I am aware that the way I went about it was distasteful, and I apologize to anyone whom I have offended or hurt with my delivery. However, I am incredibly grateful that we now have an open dialogue to refocus our attention on what matters most. I urge everyone to join me in my efforts to bring awareness to this awful reality. But most importantly, I urge everyone to help put an end to human trafficking.”
Further details surrounding Masika's reason for annulment have yet to be released.
