Former President Donald Trump was recently photographed with what appeared to be blood on the palm of his right hand. Unfortunately, the photo has led to wild conspiracies and theories on social media, including the trending of the word "syphilis."
The photo of Trump was taken as he left his E. Jean Carroll trial on Wednesday. While waving at his supporters, the embattled politician inadvertently exposed the red marks on his palm and fingers.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, the hashtag #SyphilisDon has been trending, with several individuals claiming that the former President has "hand herpes."
Online commentator, Ron Fancy noted that the cuts looked like "sores" to him. He added that he shared the image of Trump's palm with several medical doctors, asking, "What medical condition manifests itself through hand sores?
Fancy further noted that "the answer [was] immediate and unanimous, secondary syphilis." He added that he believes Trump has "the clap."

I thought Trump would die in prison like Gotti not Capone. All the better. This could explain Trumps mental deterioration. It's not Alzheimer it's Syphilis. pic.twitter.com/S11Tu7q8sE— Ron Fancy (@RonFancy) January 18, 2024
A second person tweeted, "Raise your hand if you're the world's 'Worse Germophobe Ever.' #SyphilisDon"
A third individual said, "#SyphilisDon is trending because Trump's word salad is getting much worse, and he has obvious signs on his hands."
Again, Donald Trump's team is clear it was a simple paper cut. Of course, the situation points to the craziness that is ensuing online as the 2024 election is ramping up.
Donald Trump Supports His Wife At Her Mother's Funeral
The wild allegations made against the ex-president come amid his trip to Florida, where he joined his wife, Melania, for the private funeral of her mother, Amalija Knavs.
The family laid Knavs to rest after a service at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach.
Images from the event showed the former first lady looking straight-faced while wearing a black suit and dark sunglasses. Melania stood with her father, Viktor Knavs, and her son, 17-year-old Barron. The trio stood by as pallbearers carried Knavs' coffin, covered by gorgeous white flowers, into the church, which isn't far from Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.
