It was a Downton lover’s dream come true, Lady Mary Crawley dropped-in to surprise fans waiting in the cold for the new exhibition dedicated to the award-winning PBS drama.
As fans waited in line for the opening they got the shock of a lifetime when actress Michelle Dockery showed up. Naturally, because we wouldn’t want to disappoint the Dowager Countess, fans were thrilled but kept their excitement in check.
Downton Abbey: The Exhibition opened over the weekend and features historical artifacts, amazing costumes and props from the show that promises to transport guests to “post-Edwardian England,” and that’s really where we all want to be isn’t it?
