Indianapolis Colts team owner Jim Isray was found unconscious on his bathroom floor after police were dispatched to his home last month.
The 64-year-old has a history of DUIs and suspected drug abuse.
As you may know, the 64-year-old was arrested in 2014 for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He had his license suspended for one year.
Police also found $29,029 in cash, most of which was stashed inside a briefcase and a laundry bag. When searching the vehicle, officers found multiple prescription drugs.
10 years later, the Colts owner is suspected to have overdosed after he was found unresponsive in his home last month.
Colts Owner Suspected Of Overdose After Being Found Unresponsive In His Home
The 64-year-old Indianapolis Colts owner was found unconscious in his bathroom with a blue skin tone last month. Police were dispatched to the home on December 8 around 4:30 a.m. where they found Isray on his bed, unresponsive. It is suspected that the person who found the NFL owner moved him from the bathroom to the bedroom after calling the police.
When police arrived, Isray was gasping for air and cold to the touch. He is suspected to have overdosed.
Carmel Police Department documents state that the officers attempted to wake him up, but were unsuccessful. They then administered one dosage of Narcan which he "responded slightly" to.
As you may know, Narcan is a drug commonly used in an emergency for a suspected overdose.
Paramedics then arrived at the scene and "took over lifesaving efforts," per the documents, and Irsay was then transported to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.
"At this time, it is unknown what Mr. Irsay had ingested prior to our arrival," the police report states, but they referenced the incident as "overdose" and "overdose/poisoning."
Indianapolis Colts Release Statement On Jim Isray
On January 9, the Indianapolis Colts stated that Isray had been dealing with a "severe respiratory illness." He has not been seen around the team for weeks.
"He is receiving excellent care and looks forward to returning to the stage as soon as possible," the Colts said in a statement. "We'll have no additional information at this time, and we ask that you respect the privacy of Jim and his family as he recovers."
Jim Isray has struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for most of his life, even going to rehab at least 15 times throughout the years.

When speaking to Andrea Kremer for HBO's 'Real Sports', the NFL owner opened up about his overdose:
"One time, I was trying to detox myself, and I mixed multiple drugs that I didn't know anything about. So all of a sudden, I start slurring my words. And then code blue, I stop breathing. And they revive me and the doctor goes, 'Jim, you're one lucky man because I had virtually signed the death certificate.'"
Back in 2014, the NFL owner was also charged with four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. He then checked himself into rehab.
