Halle Bailey is opening up about her postpartum plans, and it is a refreshing departure from the usual "snap back" narrative. 

Basking in the radiant glow of motherhood, the singer, who just welcomed her little one with rapper DDG, is focusing on self-love and celebrating her body's incredible journey.

The talented actress gave fans a candid glimpse into her postpartum journey, proudly showcasing her physique after welcoming her first child, Halo. In a picture that radiated authenticity, the new mother rocked a nude bra and black shorts, standing proudly before what seemed to be her son's baby carrier.

Bailey transparently shared that she had not embarked on an intense workout routine yet, focusing instead on allowing her body to heal. With honesty and a touch of humor, she wrote, "So, this is me rn and I've letting my body heal haven't started really working out yet but I'll show you my goal ❤️." 

A separate image shared on Snapchat featured the TV personality in a stylish green crop top and matching skirt. She detailed her fitness aspirations, stating, "I wanna get back to being this size on my upper body but I wanna keep the meat I've gained on my bottom half because I like it ?."

One follower remarked, "Imma be honest I don't see a big difference you small then small now ??‍♀️.." However, most comments were overwhelmingly positive, with one admirer stating, "She still looks good. ?" 

Another optimistic follower predicted a quick recovery for the "Color Purple" star, stating, "She will bounce back quick, although she looks amazing she's young. Youth is on her side ?."

The "Ungodly Hour" singer chose Instagram to reveal the heartwarming news, accompanied by a picture of her hand delicately holding her newborn's tiny hand adorned with a gold bracelet engraved with the name "Halo."

She accompanied the post with an excited message: "Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son. Welcome to the world, my Halo. The world is desperate to know you."

The heartwarming announcement prompted a flood of congratulatory messages, with rapper Nicki Minaj kicking things off, writing, "Welcome to earth, Halo. We've been expecting you. Congrats, mama." Actress Rachel Zegler also added, "Welcome baby halo!!!! and congratulations, beautiful mama."

A short while after the couple announced the arrival of their newborn son, the rapper shared insights into their parenting journey in a candid video posted on his YouTube channel. 

The 26-year-old started by offering heartfelt praise for Bailey's natural abilities as a mother. Expressing his joy and gratitude, DDG said, "Me and Halle had a baby together. I wouldn't chose no other person in the world to have a child with." 

The artist acknowledged that they were in the learning phase, but he could not help but heap praise on "The Little Mermaid" star, declaring her an "amazing" and "professional mom."

The rumors surrounding Bailey's pregnancy initially surfaced when she shared a photo collage on social media. In some of the snaps, she could be seen in a purple swimsuit that seemed to cover her stomach area discreetly. Fans quickly speculated, and as it turned out, their intuition was spot-on.

In fact, she went on to face a barrage of comments from fans claiming they knew she was pregnant, and she even addressed some of the remarks regarding her body and figure.
