Taylor Swift Surprises Chiefs Fan By Gifting An Item Of Her Clothing

Taylor Swift made one fan's day as she surprised them at the Kansas City Chiefsgame by gifting them a piece of her clothing!

The pop icon was in attendance for the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game against the Miami Dolphins, where she not only cheered on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce but she swag surfed with Brittany Mahomes and Donna Kelce after the Chiefs took home the win.

But one of the highlights of the night was when the 'Red' singer gave her scarf to one of the Chiefs fans in the stands -- and she didn't even want it back!

Chiefs fan Beth Vancil took to Instagram on Monday to share a special moment she encountered when at the NFL playoff game. “Kansas City. We came, we saw, we conquered, we swag surfed with Donna, Taylor, and Brittany," she explained in the caption.

But that wasn't even all of it, as she went on to say that "Taylor gave me her scarf."

"It was not red and she doesn’t want it back,” the fan wrote in the caption. “She thanked us for being her good luck charms. See you next week, KC," she added.

For those who are not Swifties, a red scarf has a special meaning as it references her song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).” The song contains lyrics about her red scarf that one of her ex-boyfriends kept after the two split.

The fan posted a selfie she took with Taylor and Brittany, all of whom were bundled up for the sub-zero temperatures that occurred during the NFL game last weekend.

After the incredible moment, the fan spoke to PEOPLE, telling the outlet that the scarf "smelled like home."

“During the game, Taylor coined me as her ‘good luck charm,’ noticed my face was bright red, and gave me her scarf,” the fan said. “Ironically, I was visiting Kansas City that weekend for an event for the jewelry company Collections by Joya, who just released a new charm bar, so the nickname felt even more fitting.”

Taylor, on the other hand, seemingly did not need the scarf to keep warm as she had a custom-made jacket from NFL wife Kristin Juszczyk (plus she was inside of a heated VIP suite). Brittany, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also wore a custom jacket that was made by Kristin.

To make the jackets, Kristin had to cut up a Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes jersey, but the final product was incredible.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes were not the only two to rock a custom jacket made by Kristin, as actor Taylor Lautner showed up to the Detroit Lions game last weekend in one of Kristin’s hand-made jackets, too!

The Kansas City Chiefs are now 7-3 with Taylor Swift in attendance. It is expected that she will be at the next Chiefs game, as the team will take on the Buffalo Bills in the divisional playoff round.
