Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson is addressing the backlash she has received from some after she was released from prison last month.

As you may know, Gypsy Rose spent seven years in prison after pleading guilty to her involvement in her mother's murder. She was released on parole on December 28, 2023.

The now 32-year-old has received a tremendous amount of support as she's believed to be a victim of Munchausen by proxy, a physiological disorder that investigators claim her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, had.

On the flip side, she has also received some backlash, as many can't get past the fact that she helped to plan the murder of her mother. Now, Gypsy Rose is addressing that backlash in a new Instagram post.

One of Gypsy's followers expressed how "proud " they are of her for standing up for herself and being true to who she is. "Just keep spreading awareness on signs of Munchausen by proxy! So people won’t have to go through what you did. Love you keep your head up," they commented.

As The Blast has previously reported, Dee Dee Blanchard had convinced her daughter, friends, family members, and doctors that Gypsy Rose had suffered from various symptoms, diseases, and disorders.
