Cher's son, Elijah Blue Allman, is basking in his latest victory after his famous mother was denied a conservatorship over him.

Earlier this year, the renowned singer filed for an immediate conservatorship of her 47-year-old son, claiming he is unable to manage his finances due to mental health issues and a strong addiction to substances.

However, her request was dismissed, with a hearing set for January 29. Ahead of the new hearing, Elijah is showing the world that he is in great spirits.

In the accompanying caption, the 47-year-old shared a quote from Henry David Thoreau's book "Walden" that seemingly represented the current phase of his life. "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life."

In no time, the post was bombarded with comments from loyal fans who sent him encouragement amid his legal battle with his mother. "Elijah go back to do your music. Love all of deadsy albums 🔥🔥🔥 you got this," urged one fan.

Another wrote, "Looking good Blue. Hang in there; one day at a time," while this follower described Elijah as a "good man." Another comment of support read, "You look great Elijah, I've been praying for you I will continue to do so. Stay close to God and know how much he loves you ❤️🙏 Sending you Love and Light ❤️✨🙏."

Others, however, suggested that he make things up with his singer mother. As we previously reported, the "Believe" songstress requested to be the sole conservator of her son's estate, citing worries that Elijah would spend all his money on drugs.

"[Cher] has been unable to discuss Elijah’s preferences concerning the appointment of a temporary conservator because given Elijah’s current mental and physical health issues, discussed in detail in the concurrently filed Confidential Supplemental Information, he is unable to form or express a preference concerning the appointment of a conservator for his estate," the document read.

It continued, "[Cher] is concerned that any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself and putting Elijah’s life at risk."

The Goddess of Pop also expressed concern about her son's estranged wife, Marieangela King," who accused Cher of kidnapping Elijah when they were attempting to reunite to fix their marriage. "Cher] is informed and believes that Angela is not supportive of Elijah’s recovery and that Angela actively works to keep Elijah from getting clean and sober or receiving mental health treatment that he desperately needs," Cher alleged in the filing.

Cher's Conservatorship Request Dismissed, Elijah Vows To Fight

Despite Cher's allegations, her request was denied. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge reportedly found that Cher's attorneys did not provide Elijah and his attorneys with the required paperwork to provide them enough time to present their case.

Before the dismissal, Elijah filed an opposition to his mother’s request noting that he was not adequately served papers, which would have given him and his legal counsel enough time to prepare.

"While I did receive an e-mail copy of some petition and related documents on December 31, 2023, even if I had accepted service by e-mail that was not five court days before the hearing, and I have yet to receive or review the Confidential Supplemental Information that has been filed by [Cher]," he alleged.

The 47-year-old also noted that he "naturally opposes" his mother's request because he has been "clean and sober from illicit substances for over 90 days now and [is] fully capable of and committed to managing the money [he] receives quarterly from the trust left by [his] late father."

"While I understand that my mother, the proposed conservator, believes she is looking out for my best interests, and I appreciate her love and support, I do not need her unsolicited help or support at this time," he added.
