A video from 2023 is resurfacing as the Kansas City Chiefs just secured a playoff win in sub-zero temperatures.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dumped water on the back of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's neck, while in bitterly cold weather conditions back in November, and the video is beginning to pop back up on users' TikTok feeds as it is being compared to the record-breaking weather conditions from Saturday's wild-card playoff game.
Following the Chiefs' win in November 2023, Patrick Mahomes had some fun with his teammate and close friend, Travis Kelce, while the tight end was in the middle of a post-game interview.

The Chiefs had a great game on Saturday, January 13, 2024, considering the bitter weather conditions they faced as Patrick Mahomes finished with 23 of 41 attempts completed for 262 yards and a touchdown, and Travis Kelce had seven completions for 89 years.
The team had similar weather conditions in a game last November, but again, they didn't let the cold weather get in the way of securing a win.
A video from November 2023 that is going viral (again) shows the NFL tight end speaking to a reporter post-game when Patrick Mahomes suddenly comes over and dumps water down Travis's neck.
"Yeeeeee," Travis yelled as he shivered from the water. "So cold!" he added with a laugh.
Fans commented on the video at the time, sharing things such as "THE WAY HE'S STEAMING" and "He was steaming in coldness."
Another compared the duo to the iconic Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who played on the same team for years, as one fan commented, "Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are the new Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski."
While this video is from November 2023, it is once again circulating TikTok as on Saturday, January 13, the Chiefs played in record-breaking temperatures (we're talking sub-zero temps with a wind chill of below -20°F), but they still secured the win over the Miami Dolphins, advancing them to the next round of playoffs.
The weather was so cold that during one play, a Dolphins player tackled Patrick Mahomes which shattered his helmet, forcing him to switch to a backup; however, that helmet was also frozen, making it difficult to put on his head.
It was also so cold that Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid, had icicles hanging from his mustache.
Taylor Swift Cheers On Travis Kelce During Bone-Chilling Weather Conditions
Despite the cold weather, pop icon Taylor Swift showed up at Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the playoff game in Kansas City. She showed up in a custom Travis Kelce jacket, which was designed and made by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also wore a custom jacket designed by Kristin Juszczyk. The two stayed as warm as possible while watching the game from a heated VIP suite, next to Donna Kelce, Travis's mom, and other Chiefs' family members.
The Chiefs beat the Dolphins 26-7 in the wild-card round and have moved on to the next round of playoffs. It has yet to be determined who they will face off next.
