Actress Mia Goth is being sued by a movie extra who accused her of physical assault on the set of the upcoming slasher film, "Maxxxine."
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the person alleges that Goth intentionally kicked him in the head while filming a scene, resulting in memory loss, trauma, and an eventual termination of his job.
Mia Goth Accused Of Kicking Extra In The Head & Taunting Him
The person is suing Goth and A24 Films, the production company behind the upcoming flick, recalling an April 2023 incident that resulted in him being assaulted on set.
The victim claimed he was covered with "fake blood from head to toe" as part of his makeup and asked by the director to lay down in the dirt and play dead without a stunt pad. For the scene, Goth was supposed to run past him on the ground, step over him, look at him, and continue to run.
However, that was not the case, as the "Infinity Pool" actress nearly stepped on him around the fourth take, so he proceeded to inform the Assistant Director, who warned Goth about the mishap. Unfortunately, that was the beginning of trouble.
"In the following take, Defendant Goth intentionally kicked plaintiff in his head with her boot," he alleged. "The kick in the head caused [him] to immediately experience headache and stiffness in the neck."
He claimed he reported the injury but was not offered medical assistance, with the director ordering that filming continue.
The person claims that after filming was completed, Goth "invaded his privacy in a bathroom; laughed at him; taunted, mocked, and belittled him, and dared plaintiff to do anything about it."
Mia Goth Kick Allegedly Caused 'Loss Of Memory' & 'Head Trauma
The background extra claimed he "experienced light-headedness and nearly passed out twice" while driving home as a result of the kick. What's more? He was informed via email and phone the following morning that he was taken off production with immediate effect even though it was only two days of filming left.
The man claims he experienced "loss of memory, confusion, and disorientation" in the days after, causing him to seek emergency treatment, where he was diagnosed with "concussion."
"As a result of being kicked in the head by Goth, [he] suffered and has continued to suffer symptoms of head trauma, including disorientation, vertigo, migraines, nightmares, and severe emotional distress."
The actor described Goth's action as "outrageous and calculated" claiming she acted with "malice and oppression." He is seeking general damages of $500,000 for battery and wrongful termination as well as special damages and punitive damages.
Goth has yet to respond to all the allegations levied against her.
The British actress became a mother a year before the incident, welcoming a child with actor Shia LaBeouf. The pair was seen in April 2022 with a baby stroller, confirming the arrival of their little bundle of joy.
Details such as the gender of the child or the name remain unknown, but Goth's pregnancy was confirmed after the 30-year-old was seen showing off her baby bump while running errands in Pasadena.
Goth and LaBeouf met on the set of "Nymphomaniac: Vol. II" and immediately became romantically linked. Goth was later featured in a music video LaBeouf directed in 2014, and by 2016, they got married in a private Las Vegas ceremony.
