Elena Arenas, a teammate of gymnastics star Olivia Dunne, recently turned heads as she fearlessly embraced the winter chill in a bold and stylish choice of attire.

The talented athlete, known for her prowess on the gymnastics floor, showcased her off-duty fashion sense, proving that she can dazzle not only in leotards but also in cheeky leggings, even in the midst of snow!

In a recent Instagram post, Arenas shared a glimpse of her winter escapade, where she daringly faced the snow while sporting a pair of cheeky leggings. The photo not only highlighted her athletic prowess but also showcased her flair for fashion in choosing winter-appropriate yet eye-catching attire.

The LSU gymnast's choice of leggings was nothing short of attention-grabbing. The cheeky design not only added a playful touch but also emphasized her toned physique. The black bottoms stood out against the pristine snow, making a fashion statement while braving the winter weather in Utah ahead of the Saturday meet.

Despite the snow-covered surroundings, Arenas demonstrated her ability to stay stylish in chilly weather. She paired the cheeky leggings with a matching cozy winter jacket and accessorized with a white beanie, showing that she knows how to balance comfort and fashion effortlessly.

Similar to many dedicated gymnasts, Arenas has been performing flips and spins practically since she started walking. Gymnastics runs in her family, with her mother Kim having been a champion gymnast at the University of Georgia and her father Pete serving as her coach.

At the young age of 5, Arenas was already participating in competitions, consistently bringing home piles of gold medals.

Prior to becoming a part of the LSU gymnastics team, Arenas underwent training at Georgia Elite Gymnastics. Following in her mother's footsteps, she represented Team USA in the American Classic in 2017, earning a first-place medal in the All-Around event.

Arenas is recognized by LSU as an "outstanding all-around gymnast," and her excellence extends beyond athletics to her academic pursuits. She earned the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2021 and continued this academic achievement into 2022 with the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

In a 2014 interview, Arenas shared her main source of inspiration in gymnastics.

"My favorite gymnast/inspiration is Nastia Liukin!!!” the gymnast expressed to The Gymternet. “She was so pretty to watch and super flexible! I love watching videos of her doing bars, too. My goal is to meet her someday!”
